First, I have to say... Yay! You're back! Because, of course, I love your story. <3
Oh, Jacob. What. An. Idiot. I mean really, what were they thinking they'd accomplish w/calling the cops?! (I did read your outtake first, btw. Just so that you'd be happy. :) And it seems that they had a really lovely brotherly/sisterly friendship, just like in canon... until he turned wolf... and then (just like in canon) Jacob becomes the biggest ass... maybe they should have mutated into giant donkeys instead...)
Anyway, I think that their offer to let the Cullens move away is bogus. I know Edward can read his mind, and that you said that Jacob was telling the truth... but they killed Irina and were all totally ready to dump the treaty and kill the Cullens. And the way Edward was describing their thoughts (from the house attack) to Bella; I think the wolves are just trying to keep them around longer so they'll get a chance to kill them.
I agree that the timing might not be right, but I just can't stomach the idea that the Cullens would let the wolves drive them out of such a huge portion of the country (as if their word is law, that isn't their land). And with the arrogant and sweeping statement that they would kill any vampire in the area (human-drinkers or not), well you'd think that even if the Cullens were willing to accept it, the Denalis wouldn't and Eleazer (at least) would call in the Volturi for assistance. Losing Irina would be devastating for their family and I can't see them not seeking to avenge her death. IDK, the wolves are so arrogant and overly confident w/o seeming to have any heart or compassion... I'm still w/Jasper--their threat can not remain unchecked.
I am really excited to see where this story is headed.

I thought I'd R&R over here this time rather than on ff.
Excellent chapter just as we expect! :D The action was gripping, the goodbyes/worry tear inducing, and like Bella felt a pang at loosing Irina. Definitely wondering along with Bella if telling the pack of her marriage would help or hinder. Kinda wondering if a call to Billy would be a good idea (even if he can't contact the pack).
Loving the story as much as always and sooo glad I finally got to play a bit of hookie and read! :D

I liked the idea that Edward gradually desensitized himself to Bella's blood. The part about him being able to read her mind with direct eye contact was interesting too. This story is passionate and intriguing.

Oh, yeah--I'm going w/Jasper on this one... round em up and kill em all! I am worried if they go to Italy they'll have trouble w/a jealous Aro... but, if they call him and say they're having trouble w/werewolves/shifters (and Caius hates werewolves, regardless) maybe they'd get some help?

Whoa, things are getting intense. I don't know, but I think that Bella should call Billy Black and see if she could reinstate the treaty. At least try to... and if that doesn't work, then.... I agree with Jasper. Shame on the wolves for not even attempting to be reasonable. I think that taking Bella to Volterra, with her power is very dangerous, so I'd take my chances with the wolves. Funny thing though, if the war with the Quilleutes gets too out of hand, the Volturi will probably find out anyway. Boy I, so nervous about what's going to transpire in the next chapters!

I think "holy crap!" was pretty much on loop in my head along with "oh crap oh crap" all the way through that chapter...
I'd like to think that at worst, Sam is the one casualty that makes Jacob the Alpha who's able to make everything "ok"... but I don't know how close it's going to be for everyone getting to that point. The Pack's pretty pissed right now and not willing to "talk" so much as trying to egg on the Cullens into making a more overt attack :P
It'll be interesting to find out :)

I say kill them all, but that's just me. Self righteous a--holes. They were made to protect their tribe and only their tribe. They were just looking for a chance to attack the Cullens and any other vampire, regardless of diet. So, yeah. Jasper's plan has got my vote. Not that I'm the one writing the story.
P.S.-No matter how many times I read the stories with Jake and Bella being friends, I still can't see why she always cares about him so much. Do you have a take on that?
