Author's Response: I do plan on finishing the story, but real life has kind of kicked my ass in the past few months. Look for a new chapter sometime this month.

I love how you have the aftermath of what happened first and then everything that leads up to what happens after the prologue. It's rather cool. I love this story so far and I look forward to the next installment.

now I'm thinking edward and alice.. but that just seems so wrong!! I went back and reread the prologue and male stated he knew what she was thinking.. hmmmmmm.. all these little red herrings left everywhere are taunting me
Author's Response: I love red herrings... lol. I promise that it'll all be explained relatively shortly. I've gotten up through chapter 10 written, so the next few chapters will be coming out relatively quickly (pending validation, of course). If you're interested in getting ahead, this story is also over on fanfiction and has through chapter 10 posted already. Keep in mind that I'm editing the chapters before I post them on here, so these chapters will be more gramatically correct and may have a few changes compared to those on FF. Author's Response: Sorry that was confusing for you. In regards to the first chapter, the events of that chapter take place in the future and won't be explained until later in the story. What exactly about the chapter confused you? Maybe I can offer some clarification. Thanks for the review. :)

Author's Response: I'm gonna try and get the next chapter up within the next week or so. I just finished a story for a contest and this one has kinda been on the backburner while I worked on that one. But, now that the contest is over, I plan on trying to get out one chapter a week on this one. :) Thanks for the review!

at first it seemed obvious that it was bella and jasper (unknown male said he was pouring all his emotions out) but maybe renesmee and someone else??? hmmm or even bella and carlisle, but you havent mentioned him much so... I am not really sure... HA HA HAH...

Very interesting! I think it must be Bella and Jasper that were lost, makes most sense. But I'd say it would be a long long time til the remaining partners sought eachother in that way. But that doesn't diminish the enjoyment I had reading this!
I'm looking forward to seeing how they deal with it all and the reasons they lost their partners. If it was a case of Jasper slipping and causing Bella's death then that would complicate things but I don't really get the feeling that that is the case. Had Bella already been turned beforehand? Either way I'll look forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Sorry I'm so late in responding! Yes, it definitely will be a while until our two unknowns begin to develop romantic feelings for each other. They've got quite a bit they're going to have to overcome before that's even a posibility for them. As for your question, Bella had already been turned before this story takes place, as this is a post-Breaking Dawn story.

Interesting. Very interesting. I'm interested to know who the characters are. I honestly have no idea. For a second I thought it was Edward and one of the females. But I just don't know. I just can't see Bella dying. Anyways, I'm hooked. Hope to read more soon.

Okay. I am mystified. I'm figuring, of course, that these are members of the Cullen Clan. Okay. I've got a diverse pairings as options, but it's hard to invest my brain in them because the mystery is there. I'm not good at mysteries. LOL I'm great with romance!
I do hope you've got these unknowns identified in the next installment! :) I know it'd make it easier for ME, anyway, to fall into your story!
I have a BA in English was a teacher myself, once upon a classic time. I have an Masters I don't use officially, either. Don't stress about finding employment that utilizes everything you've got. :) You'll use everything eventually.
I'll keep an eye open for the next chapter!

Thanks so much for the review, and I'm sorry I'm just now responding to it! :) I'm normally not good with mysteries either and it's quite a struggle to make sure I don't slip and reveal anything before it's time. It won't be too long before our mystery people are revealed, but there's some things that have to happen before the big reveal. :) Thanks again for reviewing!
