huh, good, i can feel his pain, even though it's REALLY short :-D if you want to hook readers make it longer, give them time to get something out of the emotions.

Oh God!!!!!!!!!! You know what I want? I want Bella to set out lookling for him and Alice to see it, Bella's sheer determination. I want Bella to be the strength that rescues him. You know women do everything anyway. Men, stupid, silly, lovable but mostly stupid men, mess.everything.up! Yes he loves her, needs her, wants her but he never fully appreciated her. Her little human heart couldn't feel what his did? I call bullsh*t.
*sighs* I really do love Edward's character but I can't help it if he pisses me off a little too.

Umm, sorry to be a meanie, but I don't really think tissues are recommended, but it was still a reeeally good story!! :-)
Author's Response: tissues are only recommended for the softies... such as my friend... who bawled her eyes out and had to wipe her eyes with a diaper... (clean)...but glad you enjoyed it! tissues were only recommended based on my friend's reaction. haha

Honestly, I can't work up any sympathy for Edward at this point in the tale. You've gone strictly on the canon side here, which I admire, and canon-Edward right at this point is not one I care for.
Not that you've painted him anything less than heartbroken. He is, here. Totally and I can see through his sparse thoughts and his recollection of the You don't want me? line that he knows he wounded he. He knows it, but he stays where he is because he believes her wound is necessary.
His might just be eternal...but he asked for it. And he knows it. And the knowledge that one is receiving an entirely just punishment is necessary for him.
Author's Response: I know, right? lol The whole time I was reading New Moon I was calling them BOTH idiots. lol I'm pretty positive that at this point I wanted to punch him in the face. lol
I only cried because I made myself... essentially turn into him... it's kinda creepy... but I write best when I do.

Loved it! So sad. Particularly when he remembers telling her he didn't want her - How could I have said that? What evil force had pulled that vile, disgusting answer out of my mouth. That really got me. How hard it must have been for him to say that to her.

Twice, actually. My Twihater roommates think Edward is stupid and angsty and horribly written... but truth be told, I agree with the first two. But that's his weakness. Contrary to Twihater belief Edward ISN'T perfect (or too perfect to put it their way) and is actually a complicated character. That's why I love writing stuff from the saga in his POV. XD

Author's Response: Lol. Tell you what, I’ve actually been working on an EPOV for New Moon. I’m working on another story now (its on Twilight Archives… it’s called Vengeance, Sweet Vengeance.... but I’m thinking of adding it here, too), but when it’s done and out of my head, I’ll work on that too. How does that sound. XD

Author's Response: ah, thank you! XD but I wouldn't call it lovely. That's the first piece where I cried while writing and editing over. you know how stories go, you have to become the character to write them.... now I know how SM felt writing New Moon. but yeah, I always felt the same about Edward during that period.
