Ok, the Rob porn! He seemed slightly freaked out by that - I don't know what the problem is! :)
and I love that she has a secret stash - don't we all?! I wonder what the sales for that month were - they should put him on the cover all the time. On second thought, nevermind! I'd have to get another job to pay for my Vanity Fair magazines!
Love the sweetness that you write between these two - it's tough to write a lemon that isn't smutty, and the ones in the chapter definately came off as sweet. The image of him crying - so hard to read!
Can't wait for more.

Okay woman! I have to tell you... that was really great.
The scene were Rob began to sob himself, I cried for them too. The last few hours... ugh! Heartbreaking...

So sad.... Why couldn't she go with him again? Bad bad LA, right? I know I would follow him to the end of the world, if only to be able to drink his tears - the ones I would have caused! Poor delectable baby! Hope they reunite real soon....
Author's Response: Very sad...
She won't go for a couple of reasons-
1. she has very bad memories of LA associated with her late husband. I haven't touched on all of the heartbreak and psychological issues she had following her accident, but it was bad enough that she felt she needed to completely change who she was, and therefore ran away from LA to forget.
2. She believes Nick's assessment of introducing her to Rob's world. that it will have a negative effect on Rob. She has a pretty low opinion of herself..., something she is learning is skewed as she gets to know Rob and becomes more confident.
They are good for one another. Rob needs her comfort and love, she needs his support and confidence in her.
sigh... Poor Rob indeed.

You preach it sister! Loved the whole dilemma with Rob laying on her bed but ripping her VF! And I loved the fact that she was actually torn at that moment - what to react to first? Hilarious!
I can tell MotU is owning you right now - Jen had her own little Red Room of Pain going! I laughed through her whole inner monologue but then you killed me with Rob's tears. I actually welled up and had to stop reading for a minute. That was really well done - my heart broke for him a little bit at that moment.
I don't want him to leave - this is gonna suck, but I can't wait to see how they deal with being in his world. Loved it!!!

It kills me when grown men cry! But that is when it is genuine emotion causing it. Those guys that cry over just anything d everything strike me as pussies.
Great chapter. You can really feel their grief for the upcoming seperation. By the way, how long will they be apart? Was it 2 weeks? I could go back an check again but I'm too lazy. Is she only not going to be with him when he is in L.A? Will she find someone to take over the daily operation of her book store so she can be with him ( I sure would).
Author's Response: Yes... Men who cry over important things...good... and not the blubbering kind of crying...
How long will they be apart? Rob is supposed to be in LA for only 2 weeks... then they are supposed to reunite in London for Christmas...
The bookstore? She operates on such a small scale, and views the bookstore as an escape from her real life demands from her previous life, she will let it just stat closed while she is gone. What will happen when/if she goes with Rob wherever he is? Well, maybe she'll realize the bookstore was her way of hiding....and she won't need it anymore... that or she'll find someone to take it over for her.
The bookstore will definitely not keep her from Rob.
