Argh! Ok, I knew the angst was coming for quite some time, but it's so hard! (that's what she said!)
There better be a good reason why he didn't call - the visual of her all curled up on the sofa with the Stoli (good one!), struggling to stay awake only to realise that he didn't call... heartbreaking!
Grr... Nick! I hope in real life he's not a c**kblocker like that! If he is, no wonder poor Rob keeps telling people he can't get a date.

I was dying to read it last night when I saw it updated, but it was simply too late for me. I'm glad I waited because this was so emotional. I went from cheering that Rob dragged Jen into the airport, to hating Nick with a vengance (to think he is my protagonist's best friend), to feeling giddy that Rob fought for her, to finally disappointment in Rob for failing to call her as he promised.
Excellent job! Great job on Nick's facial expressions and characterization. People are really going to hate him! Hahahahaha!

WHAT???? I am just dying here...I can't believe he didn't call! First I wanted to kill Nick but now I am just in shock at this ending! I have faith in you to explain what happened but WOW I have to say I am surprised by this...This was definatly a good cliffy but not the one I was hoping for!!!
I KNEW this chapter was going to be hard..but WOW I am so sad right now feeling betrayed and worried Nick was right!! Sorry ...but damn, did it have to end like this? He texted her once, it only take 1 minute to do it again......Grrrr ok I am done ranting and know it all be ok...(please tell me it will be OK) lol

Poor Jen..I feel so bad for her. I mean not only does she have to deal with Rob being gone, but she has to deal with that brat Nick. I hate him..even if its just his fictional self that i hate. Don't care if he is doing his job or not..still hate him. And then for Rob not to call. That was bad...

I love your story and can see we're going into angsty territory! I wonder why Nick is so opposed. Is it really because of her age, 'cause he can't really expect Rob to remain single for a movie part? Why didn't Rob call? I'm guessing Nick making an excuse for needing his phone or whatever.

I think Nick maybe be basking in the glory that is the speculation of Rob and Kristen...and by having Jen in the picture it deflates that momentum of excitement around Rob. Rob is extremely marketable as the single love lorn man. Having a woman at his side will tarnish that a bit..
I am sure nick doesn't approve of the age range either...having to put up with the cougar comments (i prefer puma...) will not help Rob's image either... It's all about image ultimately....
Why didn't Rob call... I like everyone's ideas... smirk...
