I still check, daily, to see if there's a new chapter (even though I know that you're bound to have a real life and can't possibly spend all your time in Rob & Jen's world ... )

Incidentally I visited your blog and I just wanted to say it's beautiful. I fell in love with Rob after watching Twilight (I saw it for the first time at the end of last year!!!) and it has changed my life. It's the strangest thing. I cannot go a day without thinking of him, or listening to his music or watching him on You Tube ... just so I can feel near him ... although I guess I'm lucky enough to live in the UK I'm nowhere near London. I've never felt or done anything like this before and it's nice to meet someone who feels the same way.

So please ... keep writing ... Rob needs his happy ending xxxxxxxxx

To steal a quote from Ms. Icy... Oh fucking my.

Turnabout is fair play, so it served her right that he would do the blindfold thing, but I've said it to you before [caution: armchair psychology dead ahead]: she did what a normal person would do.  When it got to be too much, she stopped playing the game.  Of course, being the self-proclaimed empress of snark, I spent a good portion of that part of the chapter wondering exactly what she would have done if she HADN"T made it through her cleansing, calming 24 poses!  But underneath it all, when it got to be too much, she did what she wanted to do.  Why didn't he?  There's a point where self-control can be dangerous.

I dearly loved how she referenced his "Edwardness."  His father is a wise man.  Jen hit the nail on the head when she said they'd both need to unlearn some things.  He's very black and white.  He's got to learn to work through things with her.  Deep down, it's because he is trying to do what's best, but really how well do they know each other to be able to intuit that?  I think sometimes the key to great relationships is people who make joint decisions, not people who know each other well enough that they don't need to collaborate.  Ah, the Edwardness of it all.  That was brilliant!

I loved the tree decorating, and the ornaments.  I wish Clare had insisted on the girls putting their ornaments on the tree as well, even if we didn't get the same insight into them.  My sense is that she makes sure that the kids get balanced ribbing.

The baby issue will certainly prove to be a challenge to write.  I can't wait to see what you do with it!

Yet another wonderful chapter, Steph!  Loved it, and can't wait for more!  I'll wait, but you know what I mean.  No pressure.  Now back to work!  Love you!

yes... there is a lot for them to unlearn and to relearn... the reason for this sequence of days becoming epic chapters...they have so much to learn about one another, and of themselves now that they have someone to share it with...ooooh I can't wait for you to go all Armchair Psych on chapter 34!

the tree decorating is maybe my fav part of this sequence... we learn a little about Rob and we see that tender side of him...

So I owe you for a review for chapter 30 and since I'm too lazy I'm gonna put both of them here :) They'll both be nice an sweet :)

 

chapter 30 - just a few observations.. first thanks for posting the pics of the tree farm and the little town.. so cute! the visuals went very well with the story and I could so see the scenes in my head easily. of course with the "O" face pic outtake released this week it wasn't hard to imagine the fun times the pretty was having with Jen amoung the trees. *sigh* once again super jealouse of a fictional character.

And of course loved the maxe scene. It tickles me whenever you get the chance to make reference to any of rob's past work. It would be something i would totally do if I found myself in a maze with him. heck, I even a hermoine wand since I was hermoine one year for halloween. Best halloween ever! anyway, chapter 30 was total win!

now, chapter 31- why do boys get stupid? srsly, did Rob not learn a thing from edward? I know it's in thier make up to protect their womenfolk and all, big ups to him for being such a caring guy but really - stop being stupid! well, ok be stupid - but then use your brain! he's save a lot of heartache in the process. But I know, it's all in the name of having their relationship grow and get stronger. I guess Jen have to enlighted Rob, on the bright side - major awesome "makeup for being a total edward/emo/boy" sex :)

Oh and Paddington! I bought my nephew a paddington bear when I return home from London. Just love all these little nuggets of Rob's childhood from his family and so love how's finally not letting his sis's teasing get to him. go rob! give as good as you get. lol

Overall-once again awesome chapter and of course can't wait for the next chapter - especailly since you said it's all my fault *snicker* can't wait!!

The family is just so cute together.

This was a great chapter.  I loved how Jen was included in the family traditions and made to feel part of the family.  And the crazy monkey sex ended up being pretty hot!!  Can't wait for the next update!

i my dear! i am roughly written up to Chapter 40, and that just gets us to Isle of Wight... yes that's right... I am so going there! LOL!

I am intending on writing this story along the time line to sometime in their summer of 2010. but i will skip a little of the springtime... so maybe somewhere over 50? *seizes and grasps chest* holy moly! Unless it is decisively of the readers opinions to end or extend it further... but my gut says around 50 (it was originally only about 20- but ROBJEN had other ideas...)

I will also have the Rob POV companion story coming out, which will be many if not most of the chapters of NTE in his POV. and maybe even a Nick POV in there... hehe

so you are probably safe to splurge on the updates. it makes me warm and fuzzy to think you are thinking of hoarding the updates to make them last. very sweet, thank you!
