THey are becoming comfortable with one another.  Setting up housekeeping.  Rob's fear of crowds.  More so because of what it does to Jen.  It's great how she helps him control his impulsiveness. Now is not the time for them to COME OUT. They are going to be a great team.  Waiting for Christmas.  And then -----real life. That's going to be a whirlwind of emotions for both of them.

And I wait.

Great story.

Author's Response:

YAY! you made it to the last chapter! thanks so much for all the wonderful reviews Linda! they have been so wonderful to read these last few days!

They are definitely becoming more comfortable. A real couple. They work very well together... providing strength when the other needs it.

Definitely NOT the time to come out, however excited Rob may be to sing it from the rooftops.. the next few months are going to be hard enough with Bel Ami, Remember ME, all of it... just daily life will be hard.. And what does jen have planned for herself when Rob starts filming? She has some things to take care of in order to move forward.

And christmas! So excited to get there.. next chapter will be up in a few days...

thanks so much Linda, for taking the journey with us!

Love ya!

Lovely surprise.  What a gift. Having a dream realized and a dear heart intuitive enough to make it happen.  The Beatles.

Ah "Yesterday"  I believe in Yesterday. That was my favorite along with "Something in the Way She Moves" My husband's song for me.

You did your research well. Beatles. Loved them. Iconic. 60's

Fears confronted. On the way to it doesn't matter.

Author's Response:

what a gift indeed!  and to give her that little bit of the world that he can... gah! magical...

to be able to have a night of the Beatles with the man of your dreams!

I simply love the Beatles, can you tell? Another big British influence to the world...Timeless.

all those fears and worries. they play off one another.. and Rob and Jen step up and help each other out as it threatens to overwhelm. they are really well matched in so many ways.

thanks Linda!

This is the first chapter when I forget that this was Rob Pattinson.  He's Rob. This a love story that can happen to anyone.  It could me mine or yours. Dear, dear Jen.  Independence.  Very real and very necessary to one's sense of self.  One can be sovereign in a relationship when we communicate the guidelines. He has this innate need to protect who and what he cares about.  In the extreme it is controlling. His loving enthusiasm has to morph into discussing, communicating ideas and plans so that they share in the final outcome.  Jen is starting to teach him that. That he loves her and she him will help them achieve this most important life-sharing reality.  His sweetness is most disarming. Then there is the fact that she will have to share his larger than life personna with the world.

She needs her own purpose to counteract his career. She cannot be this person whose life remains on hold while he stuns the world with his overwhelming presence.  She has to matter first to herself. Then they will have a lot to share.

Wordy and philosophical.  I want them to be happy.

Author's Response:

She definitely needs her own purpose... she is too independent to survive being in his shadow... but what a shadow he has! she is going to have to deal with sharing him as well.

They are learning so much form one another... to love to give in, to listen.. all the things necessary in a good open relationship.

they're going to have some challenges... but as long as they do it together... they'll come out happy.

thanks Linda!

Where to begin. Father/son talk. Dear sweet Dad.  Trying to keep his son grounded. Focused. His "drive".  Beautiful. Try insatiable. Well matched. voracious appetites. Jen clocking the perv in the club--fantastic. Cool, Jen. It's what I would have done. Rob's house. Love the against the door, wall sexing.  Indescribably primal. Heady  and mindblowing. He bought a house. Private, grownup. Special. Theirs.

The cougar thing.  I married a younger man when in my mid thirties. Still married.  Totally relate.  The world is so lopsided. Men do it all the time. Why not women. We can match them.  We are in our prime and can deliver their fantasies.  Hear us roar.

Way to go Steph.  This story gets better and better.

Author's Response:

Oh how i love Mr.P.... a good man... good to his son and his newly "adopted" daughter...

and Jen and the perv... yeah...she is getting bolder in her convictions.

the house... oh my a lot of rooms to look into...

she's got to get over the cougar thing... yes it will be an issue, but she needs to stand tall and show she isn't afraid.

RAAWWWWR! exactly....

thanks my dear!

What a delightful chapter. Sister Lizzie waking ROb up. Morning surprise.  Gotta love her reaction. Carefree, fun stuff. Snowballs and shopping.  Mama Clare filling her in on her shy, sensitive boy.  It's like they understand how necessary she is to him. She is like the oxygen he needs to breathe. And he is the music that fills all the empty forgotten places in her soul.   They want it to work. Oh happy, happy day. Christmas time and love is in the air.  Magic time. Magic place. "Snowflakes fall in British accents"  Your imagery makes this story all the more precious.  I know real life is coming for them. But right now.  Time is suspended. THe type of memories that will live in your heart forever. THe kind you will remember and reflect on when you are so much more than twenty. Beautiful.

Author's Response:

Oh Linda you made me cry again.

you really touch on so much that was important to me in writing this story. I simply adore you. I love that you get so much more than just the schmexin... because it is so much more than that...

It's about a man and a woman, both lost without the other, finding the other half of their soul.

Jen is finding she is not so lost anymore. that she can love again just as much as she did with Mike. and Rob is finding out there is something so much more important than work and life.

To have a family like the Pattinson's even if they are fictitious here, must be so amazing to experience.

christmas is such a magical time. How wonderful to be able to experience the beauty of love and family at that time. To see Rob at his most genuine.

Yep...real life will continue to challenge them.. and Rob's RL is so much more complicated. They are going to have to work together to get through it...

thanks Linda... goodness the xmas chapter is going to be laced with you, you are inspiring me to lay in so much, just so you know...

thank you!

Beautiful.  Loving. You've made them seem so real. Rob has a very loving family.  That is why he is as well.  THe brilliant white light of fame captures his beautiful smile.  The craziness of the limelight puts him at odds with the intrusion into his personal space.  Nick, this character anyway violated everything he is about.  Home is where he is loved and can be just Rob. Jen is home. He seems to sparkle (no Edward pun intended) when he is safe. His family provided him with a beautiful truth.  Love.

Author's Response:

Thanks Linda. PArt of the beautiful charm of Robert is his sincere beliefs and intense dedication. GAh, i find that more attractive than piercing eyes and a winning smile. and eyes are my thing...

He must truly have so much to have to deal with, and to have a refuge in his home.. he needs that. Sad that London isn't what it was for him even last year this time... but it is so much better than NY or LA.

To bring Jen home is symbolic, to bring her into his most private part of his life... Has he done this ever?Has he had someone he can bring home to Mom and say without a doubt is the most important person in his life?

Sigh. he is young  and i have faith he will find her one day. Does that make me a Kristen hater...absolutely not. i just think he needs a place to call home that is outside the glitz and whirlwind that is Hollywood.

Home is where the heart is never rang more true than how i think of Rob when he is home.

thanks Linda.

Again , a beautiful review that gets me going this morning!

Outdoor,in public nookie.  It doesn't get any hotter than that.  Perv that I am had to read it twice. Meadow, up against the tree.  Now that was some list.

Insight into Jen's family history.  Thank God for her father.  The healing salve being music.  Totally get that.

Love that is so consuming. It's breathtaking.  It makes me wonder where this all going to go. THis is a real person fic.

I want it to end well.

Author's Response:

hehehe... we're going to stay up all night feeding off of one another i think!

oh my yes #1 on that list... sigh... if only pine trees weren't so prickly!

Her father was the rock that kept her sane. And the music, so vital to her. How wonderful that she can relate that with Rob.

yes... it is a real person fic.. where will it lead?

most days i feel i am racing the clock... waiting and cringing with each new photo released of Rob. I use events in his life and pictures as inspiration... so it is truly is a hide and dodge the bullet... and explain what i can of what we see...

If only he would show up to the BAFTAS on Sunday with a spunky thirtysomething brunette on his arm... sigh....

thanks my dear. i promise.. i won't let this story end badly... HEA here! *must write faster must write faster before the music stops!*

Dirty, angry Rob. Wow.  How primal. How feral. He was claiming her all over again.  The word MINE comes into play here.  No one was going to F**k with what he wanted. Who he loved.  Some parts of his life are sacrosant. Jen is that special part.  And going into the house "freshly f**ked. Priceless.

Damn girl. you're good.

Author's Response:

Every man has that dark side... even our sweet and quiet Rob... give him a reason to fight...and WHAM! there he is... definitely a MINE mentality there. grrrr. how beautiful that he drew Jen into that precious cluster with no hesitation.  She is his, there is no doubt.

And the going into the house... staking the claim.. pissing on the tree trucks so to speak... and maybe just a little bit of him being oblivious to it... hahaha...because he is still our Rob after all!

hehehe... poor Jen. To have to deal with so many mortifying little moments... hopefully it toughens her up to the scrutiny you know will come with the press.

*blushing again!*

you make me smile, you make me laugh and blush!

Voracious.  Definitely the word for Rob/Jen. You describe the lovemaking so sensually, erotically.  I feel like a voyeur.

This story definitely brings back garter belts. Men are such visual creatures.  We should keep them so stimulated.  And the way he removes them. Hot. Hot. This chapter had such sizzle.  You can feel the electricity.  Smokin'

I am now enjoying my glass of merlot.  Having a cigarette.

Whew.

Author's Response:

That they are... they are realizing a burning need for one another...in so much more than the sex.

*blushes*  i love that you feel like a voyeur...is that wrong of me? hehehe.

oh garter belts.. Rob is certainly a visual creature.. well i can only hope...

and now that he is back on his home turf, perhaps he is feeling a little more relaxed in his surroundings to do what he wants to now... cough cough.

glad you liked the electricity! hehehe... merlot and a cigarette! i am definitely blushing now! *steph grins and her inner creative goddess nods approvingly* sorry jsut got finished with the latest MotU update... icy is channeling...

Again, your descriptions make the story come alive.  "Like I had put on glasses that made everything -distinctly British".The Mustang.  Love older homes.  Enjoyed the descriptions.  Detail is everything.  You make us feel like we know his family.  Sister, Victoria scrutinizing.  THey are very protective of Rob.  Had to laugh about Rob having no filter.  Have a son just like that.  And Clare, I relate to.  I would be considered intense.  Just right there.  What you see is what you get. Dear, sweet Richard.  You make us love the family.  Another great chapter.

Author's Response:

thanks Linda! I don't know the Patti Clan at all, but i hope they are something like this... and oh yes they are very protective of Rob.

I love that you are like "clare" It makes me love you more!

Mr. P has become my favorite of the family.. Jen can relate to him, maybe because of her closeness to her own father.

Tracy (Alice) one of my favorite characters.  Great reference.  Funny.  It's like we were shopping along with her.  By the way loved Saks FIfth Ave.  It is a great place to shop.  The spa.  Every woman deserves a day at a spa.  Pampering is like hyacinths for the soul. Great chapter.  We all needed it.  Not just Jen.  Time to regroup and let our spirits soar to London.

This was a death spiral.  Cruel. ROb did not do this.  His handlers are responsible.  But then again so is he. I believe in personal accountability. Did he have his own breakdown because of the harshness of his career expectations?  I was crying.  Damn Steph.  She was so emotionally fragile.  She opened up and set herself up for the most devastating pain.  Rejection.  Made out to be a fool. But not by him. I bet it is his sister who came thru the door. WIld guess.  I have to get on to the next chapter.

Damn.

Author's Response:

I am so sorry i made you cry...if it helps, i cried every time i had to read it...it is near to me...

Poor kids... so fragile and willing to believe in the unthinkable rather than what is in their hearts. Did Rob have his own breakdown? Oh I can't wait for you to read this sequence of time in the RPOV story...can you imagine... Jen can withdrawl into her private hell... but Rob...he has to keep up with appearances... how does he handle this? what is going on in LA that keeps him from contacting her?

Just as she feared... she opened up and lost again. how many times can a kind loving soul take that?

thank you my dear... this is by far my favorite chapter...for so many reasons... the angst and the pain she feels... i think most women can feel some part of this...from something in their histories...

thank you. I loved your review!
