Ah, so he fired Nick and Jen slapped him, good for her! But I still want to know what happened. When will he talk about it? What did Nick say? That's just mean, leaving us hanging on all accounts there.... But that way we'll def be back for more. I'd be back for more anyway.

His 3 co-stars from Bel Ami of course: Kristen Scott Thomas (or Thomas Scott - I never get it right), Uma Thurman, and Christina Ricci. Good for Jen - she took the risk with Theater Girl that we all take at some point - at least those of us involved in a fandom of whatever nature . That was a low blow on the $40,000. These two (Rob and Jen) are going to have to talk about this whole deal with Nick sooner or later. Talk about insecure - she goes for a run and he thinks she's left him? Did he check the closets first before he made that assumption?Would she have left without her purse or her passport? Although after Nick told him whatever he told him, I guess you can't really blame him. Never having been pregnant, at what week does the mother feel the baby flutter for the first time? Oh yes - Mack (Mike) - we should have a fan club for Mike (unofficially) or appreciation sociiety/admiration society/whatever I was going to put here-it went completely out of my head - when I remember it I'll let you know.

Loved her opening up about Mike to Rob...that was very real and honest...also his mum and sisters just kill me...I know it is just your vision of them but somehow....I really feel as though you aren't too far off!

I so totally saw that coming! She's definitely pre-occupied! Too funny. Sooo... Nick. Whatever did he confess to. Gotta admit, that comment about the clothes... he's just lucky she didn't get him in the balls, because that's what he deserved. Did he admit to stealing the phone? Never actually looking at her? Hmmm...
The contract thing is sticky. He may have one, but that's like A-Rod having a contract with the Yankees. Just because he gets paid, doesn't mean he plays. Hell, it doesn't even mean he suits up. So if Rob says he's outta there, then he's got no entry to the read-through, the set, etc. He serves at the privilege of the Pretty, if you know what I mean. But Rob may not know that. If Nick is taking advantage of that, he's a bigger dick than I thought.
Hopefully, the Nickster went back to his hotel, iced his wounds, and called Stephanie. Maybe she can talk some sense back into him.
She should see a doctor because she's sick. She's not eating, puking a lot, dizzy, and quite moody. And you know I would notice those things, so don't say it...
ET, this was a great chapter. I'm still angsty on her behalf. If she hadn't fallen to her knees catatonically, I would have hoped that she'd have texted him to say something. Maybe "No ILY? Are we okay?" Something so he knew that he kind of jacked up his goodbye a bit.
Thank you so mucking fuch for the holy hand grenade. That was delightful. I needed it. I would pay good money to hear him say that. *le sigh*

Nick... boy... Rob knew about the phone... about the text...what else could he have done? that would make Rob go ballistic. Maybe Nick was trying to make amends and confessed to much much more.... I'm telling ya...the dark OTT chapters... they will be epic for understanding Nick. We may see a glimmer of all he may have done coming up. We'll see if Rob tells her or not...
and the contract... definitely sticky... There's some legal stuff to work out here. Maybe Nick will be sent back to LA to "work" until his contract is up.... or maybe he will be a real prick and cause issues.... hmmmmm... evil laugh...
She must have an ulcer or something, right? poor thing... she should see a doctor. it could be serious. oh you notice so much ET.... heehe
She's still a little fragile over this new life, and seeing Rob upset is something new. She has a lot of self doubt still.
Oh the hOly Hand grenade... it is there for what ails us... GAH! that would be awesome to here that (or any monty Python...ANd Now for Something Completely Different) from those lips....

Well, this is really the crux of the problem, isn't it? What I really loved about this chapter was the downtime at home...and hopefully both of them realizing that whatever pressure is on them can be left on the the front steps at the end of the day. Making supper, watching a movie, leaving the whole "lifestyle" behind, and just being...
What I hope both Rob and Jen will realize is that it is these moments that will get them through all the others...
I am beyond excited about reading this chapter in OTT...getting inside his head at the moment that he thinks punching Nick in the face is his only response is going to be epic!
And Jen...I remember vividly how much I slept when I was early on in pregnancy...what are you doing here, girlie!
When WILL he learn to stop springing people on Jen at restaurants? Kristen, Uma, and Christina, I presume? Getting ready for the orgy already! NICE!

Author's Response: Leaving work at work... so important, but so hard to do, especially for Rob I think.... the down time is sooo important. It recharges the batteries so to speak. And this is something Rob has never really done. He's gone to the Pub with his mates, sure. but he has hidden in his hotel room, trapped for so long. Making home may be just what he needs.
oh the OTT chapters... can i submit like every day from now until July 1st so we can get there! holy cow it's gonna be like Christmas before we see this?! i may have to give a tease on the forum at some point... JS...

But i worry that at some point, it will drag out. but hearing you lovely ladies say it doesn't matter gives me hope, and truthfully, it will be more than 15, i am sure... i had a deadline in my head. and as it fast approaches, i realize i just won't be able to wrap it up. so i just need to get past the numbers and let it go it's course.

Such a funny exciting chapter. But she totally sounds preggers. I don't know how I feel about that really cause it doesn't seem realistic for her to all of a sudden be able to get pregnant. It seems almost too HEA.
