So I'm preety new to fanfic and at first I thought that Rob Pattinson fic kinda seemed creepy, but this story has totally won me over!
I've been reading since the beginning and never reviewed (sorry, bad me).
I love your characters and Jen is amazing, so real.
I'm always excited when I see that email pop-up saying that another "Need to Escape" has been posted. Really enjoying "Over the Threshold" too, it really helps to see the whole picture to get in Rob's head.

Also, I'm not really sure what the rating system is, but I'm assuming that "10" is best, so I picked "10". but if "1" is best, like "you're number one", then Sorry :)

i understand completely about the creep factor. when i first started reading fan fic ( my 1 year anniversary just passed) i was strictly a canon girl. but i quickly moved into other genres. But RPFs (real person fics) were still taboo to me... until this story overtook my mind. i was terrified to even post it. But my dear Theatregirl convinced me...the rest is history. and i was very warmly welcomed in by the other writers, who are very normal and caring individuals, contrary to much of the stigma we face from others. so I am so glad this story won you over. it means alot to me for people to understand that i have HIS best interests at heart, regardless of the schmexin... I am a respect girl.

Wow! So much in this chapter. I don't even know where to begin. Well, sure I do. This was another great chapter. Lots of angst. Saw a new side of Rob---rage, fury. Will be interesting to see how the whole Nick thing pans out. I LOVED that Jen got in her two cents worth as well. I just wish her kick had landed a little lower.......
There are still things left unsaid between Rob and Jen. I'm wondering, as is Jen, what else Nick did. Hmmmm. And I know they need to talk about it, but at the same time I'm glad they can put it aside for a little while and give themselves time to think things through, and still be "ok" with each other.
Now for the surprise at lunch. Will he ever learn? This should be FUN!

Author's Response: we will DEFINITELY get to Eclipse premier... which is only 68 days away. That had been my deadline... I doubt I will get to it in time... but we'll just keep letting ROBJEN do their thing...they seem to know what they are doing...

I loved the ILYxinfinity and ILYF bantering! And I loooooved the Nick-slapping! He had it coming for a really long time! (God, I hope the real Nick doen't read this - he might be a perfectly nice person and not the sly amoral manipulator at all for all we know...)
And let's not forget the growing list of symptoms, like drowsiness, fatigue and lack of apetite... I wonder how long it will take her to put two and two together?... Oh, she's meeting his Bel Ami co-stars. Fun! I really hope you give us a glimpse of what Nick said to Rob, because I don't think I can wait 40 chapters of Rob's story to find out. Pleeeeease.

Loved her correspondence with Leah -- I can't image if this happened to one of my on-line friends. I hope they stay in touch.

OMG, thrills and spills all the way! What a chapter.
The thing with Nick is so not over, although since you HAVENT yet told us the full story we can only guess. And jen is right of course, Rob needs someone representing him who knows what they are doing. Humm, prehaps the Nick thing can be sorted out....HURRY UP and tell us more!
Jen should so take up rowing, it is her kind of thing!
And what was she doing telling some random person that she met on the internet her name!! they could be anybody! OK, I hope she will be a friend but, now more than ever Jen needs to be careful. Oh...it's not Rob incognito is it> No...stupid idea.
And a different Kristen just to confuse us all. He is working with Kristen ST in Bel Ami, is that it I wonder? OMG, Jen will freak out when she is faced with 3 georgous women. she will either retreat into herself because she thinks she isnt worthy of Rob ( silly, silly girl!) or she will be all over him staking her claim! Wow...drama from the beginning to the end of that chapter! *L* WOOT that Rob punched Nick in the mouth - was a little bit surprised that Jen lost the plot with Nick when she realised he'd blown everything that Jen had worked so hard on achieving with Rob about what had caused the break-up. Idiot should have just apologised and shut up. I get the distinct feeling that this will not be the last we hear of Nick.
Couldnt help but feel like Rob kind of deserved being made to panic when Jen when for a jog. He should never have left her so quickly after the whole scene with Nick - kind of like the saying never go to bed on an argument! Jen obviously needed to clear her head and he should have remembered that going for a run is her way of dealing with stress.He did earn mega brownie points with the shower & the soup :P
Kristen Bell perhaps? Obviously some more good looking girls that Rob knows. God he's oblivious. Seriously, this is exactly how I picture Rob in RL...he's so not convinced by his own desirability that he doesn't get how much people desire to be around him. Rob just doesn't buy into his own hype and whilst that is an incredibly modest and rare commodity to be had, it also puts him in danger of majorly upsetting the woman he's with. Has he really not cottoned on to the fact that someone like Jen who sees herself in the same manner (nothing special despite how much Rob adores her) is going to be blind-sided by being thrown in amongst gorgeous (and mostly famous) people, when she already feels insignificant?
*shakes head at Rob*

Nick must have said something to have Rob go off like that. it takes alot to get him going... we'll learn a little more in the next couple of chapters.
Rob is so insecure on some fronts. it stems from not understanding what people really see in him. He and Jen both have that insecurity. how could the other love them so unconditionally? sigh... if only they just had faith...
He'll learn... they both will as they continue to learn about one another.
Surprises... she has been awfully forgiving... maybe this time she'll put her foot down...hmmmm
