Usually I don't like Rob Pattinson fics - but yours really got me.
Apart from the overall story, which is great so far, I particularly like the little pieces of Rob's POV in between. And I'm still laughing about Rob's mom embarrassing him so much. Oh dear... Can't wait to read about the visit in London, so I'll just go on reading now.

I understand completely. before writing this, I was very hesitant about reading RPFs. i have since favorited a few, and hope that this story can be a respectful piece of fiction for someone we respect and admire. Ok he's pretty too, but that's just icing.
there is a companion story to this now up, all in Rob's POV, entitled On The Threshold: Robert's View. so many were enticed by the little peeks into Rob's mind, that i was silly enough to start a companion story. check it out, we are gathering steam over there.

Talk about being unprepared for a situation! I'm guessing there are three leading ladies there to have lunch with her. And can I just say this whole Nick thing is driving me nuts. I'm dying to know what the heck he was saying to Rob. I can only imagine that it was bad...maybe he had something to do with the additional Robsten pictures that were leaked. Who knows, but I know the reveal will be good. I'm dying for a scene where Nick and Jen throw down!
Author's Response: BWHAHAHA! Nick and Jen throw down! there is something in the works, although I'll admit. my first draft outline of this chapter was of Jen opening the door to a knock, it being Nick, him saying the 40grand remark and her decking him... as Rob walks down the stairs... but i thought that might be too much... but coming up....
the nick thing is driving me nuts too. Rob and Jen need to stop farting around and get to business! hahaha!
there will be resolution in the next 5 or 6 chapters... hehehe maybe... and we'll learn more about what Nick said coming up.promise

I liked how you worked that pic from the Isle of Wight into your story... your line of thinking may get some of the Egyptians riled up and floating back down the river! However, that would only happen if this chapter had come out BEFORE Kristen showed up in Budapest for her birthday. Hearts were breakin' wide open all over the world that night!
Hmmm... I'm very curious as to what Nick said to Rob that ended with him firing his ass. So NOT sad about that development!
Looking forward to lunch with the ladies from Bel Ami... and Jen's reaction when she finds out how intimately Rob will be getting to know them! lol

I'm reading through this slowly right now as I have time, though eager to see what happens next.
Currently I am of the opinion that the manager is behind Rob not calling her. I think that he stole the phone and sent the text, then he's going to lose it permanently so that Rob will have to get a new phone. And of course he's probably not going to remember her number, not to mention it will be extremely difficult for him to get away to try to get back to her.

The Office... i am so sad to say it was pulled late last fall, about 2 months into this story posting. I am hoping she re submits it, but so far she has said she wont. I may have to start a petition requesting she resubmit...hahaha.

I am loving this story btw. I have been in a marathon session the last couple of days reading this. Didn't think I would like it with real life characters, I though it might be creepy, but I am loving this :) (So glad there are going to lots more chapters, I didn't want to get to the end).
I could be way off base here, I she not supposed to be able to but, I have been suspecting for a few chapters now, could she be maybe ........ pregnant!
