I'm finally on the bandwagon once again. Sorry it took forever! Thanks for checking in on me by the way.
Loved the Isle of Wight angle. It makes a lot of sense.
As for your author's note, I cannot help but say thank you. We RPF writers do get a lot of flack, but such is life. I just hope that the readers do see the effort we take into crafting a story and breathing life into these characters we create. Thank you too for putting how I felt about the Isle of Wight photos into words. I had to process it a bit myself, especially because I have made an investment into my own pair of characters.
I love it when you get up on your soap box.
I love it when you write about Rob and Jen! This was fun. I've really missed this story.

Sorry it's taken me a few days to get around to reading this update but I've been otherwise occupied...by your new story OtT, which I love! Well, you already know that. hehe. I can't wait to find out what that dasterdly bastard Nick really said to Rob and it's got to be so vile for him not to be able to share that with Jen. And going back to the States... she might get her game on.... we'll just have to see... but i have VERY BIG PLANS for Nick. I have since he first opened his mouth to Rob on Orcas... killing me I have gotten this far....
Yes. Rob may have some issues while he is separated from Jen. Let's hope she can wrap things up and get back to him... at least they will have their phones...and internet... and skype... and and...

What a beautiful chapter. These two are soo sweet and caring to each other. The way you describe the facial expressions on Rob you can just picture it. We all know those looks!!! I am waiting to find out if Jen's symptoms are due to pregnancy? Oh that would be a wonderful miracle for these two!!! Please let that happen!! Some more caring moments between these two over her dizzy or fainting spells would be soo sweet!!! Thank you for such a beautiful story. I am enjoying every chapter!!!

Kristen took me by surprise. And Kristen's POV definitely did too, but I like those little POV surprises in between :-)
I still like this story a whole lot, although I must admit I sometimes skip the lemons because I'm more interested in the - well - other aspects of their life together.
Oh, and I'm really curious about the "coming out" - will they be found out or will they be able to keep their secret until they choose to inform the public? You are going to write that, I hope... because I can't wait!
And lastly, thanks for the Author's note. Maybe all of this needed to be said here, and I totally agree with you.

Rob isn't the only male in existence who doesn't think about springing strangers on their significant others without warning. I think its a guy thing - one of their neanderthal tendencies(or little boy tendencies - not thinking how it will affect?). Lots of luck to Jen in breaking him of the habit. sort of like trying to tame the word vomit. Still that bad case of insecurity - she wants to go sell the condo and he's still surprised she wants to come back. Rob Rob Rob - Hello? How many of us need to hit you on the side of the head before you get the message that she's there to stay. Geez Louise - Get over it already! I know - easy for me to say. For soeone into word vomit he isn't telling her a whole lot about Nick. And yes I know he has his reasons but still.......

Like Jen not wanting him to worry about how broken she was. Like Rob knowing how broken she was. protecting one another from one another... silly...

Wow! I don't know how Jen does so well in all these intimidating situations. I guess it's one good thing about being a little older, a little more mature. Great chapter. I was so glad to hear that Jen's really going to stay with Rob -- selling her place is a really big deal. Yea!
And the reveal about what Nick said was a bit of a surprise. I can't believe he told Rob that he was actually there. I kind of agree that watching Jen break down like that crossed some kind of line. As good as Nick is at his job, how can Rob really ever trust him again? Hmmm... I'll be interested to see how that plays out.

*snicker...there is no scientific measurement for the amount of verbal vomit that could come out of his mouth in that amount of time.
Loved this Steph. So glad that Jen called him on his penchant for "surprises." It's almost as if he just thinks of will only be a big deal if he MAKES a big deal out of it, so he just handles "outing" her to people in his inner circle like it's perfectly normal. That's the 23 year old in him. I thought you did a really great job with Jen's explanation of whay it bothers her so much.
And the Rob/Nick situation...just AMAZING! To know that Rob was made aware of what she went through...I think Nick was lucky that he could actually walk out the door under his own power. That will be an intense scene...I am so excited to see what you do with it!

Now I'm hoping I haven't lost my eyesight from reading in the dark!
