Great chapter!!
I learned something new today, don't read this story while working out, 'cause it'll cause heat exhaustion!! This story is so HOT!! I was imagining revealing that jawline inch by inch, and my temerature was rising!!
I think TheatreGirl will keep the secret, we Pattinh00rs stick together!! So I don't think TG would ever out Jen.
I look forward to the next chapter. (I'll remember to sit in the freezer to read it next time so I don't overheat!!)

The shave...oh, Lord that was HOT! Yes, theatregirl will be at the premier, and I'm betting she and Jen will finally meet. It will be interesting to read about Jen at the event!
For a minute, I started to think Mr. P was going to volunteer to go with her to help wrap things up! Is Rob mainly dreading the weeks of separation, or is he afraid she won't come back? Or, both?
BTW, if Jen IS pregnant, shouldn't she find out pretty soon, so she can curtail her alcohol intake? Hmm....just wondering! ;)

how sweet it would be if Mr. P volunteered to go with her. she really should go with someone. it would put Rob's heart at ease, but Jen is a proud girl. She won't ask for help.
Ah Rob, he's insecure to a degree that she won't return, but he has become dependent on her as a sense of normalcy in his crazy life. like a drug, he has come to depend on her energy to calm him and ground him. He's afraid he'll lose it when she goes away.
hhmmm...you are absolutely right... IF she is pregnant, all this beer and brandy can't be good.
can't believe we are at 50.... glad you are still enjoying it after all this time!

*sniffle*...OK, for some reason, this line just about sent me into some sort of crying jag. I think it was just such a stark reminder that he is really someone's little boy...that Clare and Mr. P have a wellspring of memories about a child that belongs only to them. They may have to share so much of him with the rest of the world now, but in the end they will always see that little blonde haired boy that they raised. Just knowing that Mr. P is thankful that his Robert has her in his life...that Clare loves her unconditionally...I could survive any sort of crazed fan reaction of the people that really mattered to both of us were there to support us in the way the Pattinson clan has rallied around Jen.
And theatregirl...she "gets" it...she's one of the good ones! One of the girls who just wants Rob to be happy...So glad she told Jen what she did.
Oh, wasn't there some shaving in this chapter too...I'm still an emotional mess from the Daddy P talk! Rob just handing himself over to her in such an exposed way...*THUD* You are a rock star!

he is still their little boy, who is going through things they have no control over. and to have a girl that cares for their boy as much as they do, simply magical. and i think Mr. P, who, while very quiet, is very insightful, can see the Jen needed Rob just as much as Rob needed her.
with that kind of love, absolutely, you can get through anything.
Theatregirl. not a twi mom, not a screamer, loves the Pretty, but in the end wants to see him happy and with someone who can love him as he needs to be loved. we'll see her again. Jen really does need someone outside of the shadow of Rob for a friend. even if it is Rob that brought them together.
ahhhh. Rob giving himself to her... oh yes. gah... shaving just won't ever be the same.

Thanks Steph, I was overjoyed to sign in and see a new update for NTE.
Wow, shaving off the Grizzly Adams beard, that scene was really intimate and sexy as hell. Not that a smooth Rob isn't incredible, but I have to say I think I prefer him with a couple of days growth.
I love Mr P too he is great.
This is still my favourite story on the ever.
As ever I can't wait for the next update.

Another awesome chapter. Love her time with Mr. P. Always so warm and caring, if somewhat awkward. What an amazing family Rob has. So great to see how much they love Jen. theatergirl worries me just a bit. Worries me just a bit as well that Jen was almost too trusting of her and now she's backing off that she has seen it could be a problem. Hope she turns out to be one of the good fans!
Song suggestion: Well, this is actually a Christian song but it is one that speaks to me so deeply any time I'm in pain or hurting in life. I have a feeling that it would probably speak to Jen as well--and maybe her "creator". The name of the song is "Pray" by Greg Long. Talks about how pain is actually a gift at times......how it leaves us stronger, etc. Sound familiar? Sounds a lot like Jen to me!

Jen and Mr. P's relationship is truly special, and I'm glad you get the awkwardness, because i think as sweet cnd caring as he is, there is still a part of him that just doesn't know how to handle Jen. she's just not your typical girl.
theatregirl- jen is pretty trusting to a fault, her inner need to please and maybe be loved. But you truly don't know someone over the internet really, can you? we'll see. she will be coming up again to be sure. Jen really does need a friend she can call her own.

Excellent story, I swear I thought Jen was pregnant and she didn't know about it with the weight gain and throwing up and irritability.... You didn't really go into what happened why she thinks she can't have kids, did u? Family seems to be a big part of your story. Will a surprise miracle happen? How old is Jen? Jen and kids... the accident forced her to lose her first child. she was told that she could not bear any others. but she was grieving, and it was a bad time for her in recovery, i have kept it vague as to her issues because truthfully, she doesn't even know what the issues were. We'll learn more about that...
family is very important to this story. I firmly believe with love and support from family and friends you can over come anything.
Jen just turned 37.

Sigh... this story was based on the premise of his crazy life. what he must feel and how completely ridiculous it must be for him to even have anything normal in his life. so it gives my heart a little happy dance(in a sick and twisted way obviously) to hear how readers are affected by his reaction to all this.
I hope it isn't that bad. but i have my doubts. I had my doubts during Remember Me filming when i started writing this.
so thank you. it means the world to know you were affected, and i don't mean that in a mean way. It means you care about his well being. and that is what is most important to me about this story. that we can reflect on what it must be like, and what the craze must do.

Another great chapter. I've reread it a couple of times 'cause I just didn't want it to end! Ticked over the whole clooney thing, amused by the driving - yeah - you couldn't pay me enough I'll stick to the tube thank you very much - and so sad over the whole baby thing. Well, the convo she had with Clare - and of course even more in love with Clare - she knows exactly what to say.
and good for Jen and telling rob to grow a pair - course it may have been a little harsh but if your number one/soulmate can't call you on your whininess who can. Of course Rob is still young - he still is learning to grow into himself.
Oh and grizzy adams! lol - so glad bel ami made him get rid of the squirel :) he needs to keep the RP scruff not the mountain man woods.. :)

ah Clare. she has got to be the best MIL ever!
The great thing about Rob and Jen is that they respect one another. Rob may not understand what that means fully, but he knows when he needs to listen. he is young.... and learning. hopefully time with the otehr ladies of Bel Ami will help to mature him a bit... not that we mind himthe young carefree guy.... but you know... the future is calling...

ah the pregnancy thing we'll learn some more of what's going on with her in a few chapters. not to worry.
as far as how long this story will go... under 100 chapters...HAHAHA! oh dear lord. this story started out with maybe 20.... just a simple little story.... and then Rob and Jen took over.They don't want it to end either...
so we'll see.
I have an ending laid out...it's all the in between that gives it it's girth....

Just voted for you over Open to Interpretation, my second favorite. Glad Jen is speaking up about things Rob does that bother her. The best thing you can do for each other in a relationship is help each other grow into better people. She shouldn't be so enamored with him that she doesn't say when he needs to take a more mature perspective of events or be more considerate. I'm glad he's listening to her and not getting defensive. You've made them seem so good for each other as well as good to each other. But, Jen has things in her life to resolve beyond just selling a condo - glad you're addressing those.

Being open and honest ina relationship is so important, and being there to support your lover. a give and take between partners. they are dogin pretty well for one another... we'll see how things go when the really big stuff happens. Jen needs to go home and take care of a lot more than simply the material. she left a lot of baggage behind when she left Los Angeles. She'll need to come to terms with her previous life before she can step into this new one with Rob.
