Oh hun! What an emotional chapter! It's killing them both to be separated...and she's still not feeling well..hmmmm yes, I have my theories on that one. Poor Jen. Still not feeling well? Hmmmm I can't believe she is handling Rob with those 3 beautiful women so calmly. I know she trusts him, but it would make me crazy. I wouldn't want anyone getting close to the *goods* but me if I were in her position. She is a strong woman. Can't wait to see what happens in LA. Great chapter:)

Sigh!!!! Poor Jen. She really needs to see a doctor. Somethings not right. But I guess you already know that. I hate that she kept her plans from Rob for so long. Sure it is difficult for him, but keeping secrets isn't a good way to grow a relationship. And he handled the news rather well actually. Offering Jen his flat, a driver, etc. He is such a gentleman. And it is good that he is getting to spend some times with his mates. This time apart is so difficult for both of them, but they are both going to grow though it. I'm interested in Jen's trip to LA. Intereested to see her relationship with her former father in law. I know the next chapter will be an emotional one for her.
You continue to draw me in to the world of Jen and Rob more and more with each chapter. I "forget" I'm reading a fictional story and feel as if I am living it with your wonderful characters. You are so incredibly talented. Can't wait for more!!!

Agh...I hated seeing that chap end....actually how bad is it that getting notice of updates to NTE and OTT is like getting some kind of fix....OMG....I have become a fic junkie!! LOL
I am very worried that this illness that she is feeling is more than home/love sickness...that one is driving me a bit crazy. Thinking it would be very nice if it was Kristen who picked her up in LA....might give her a bit of calm but figuring you are not going to make it that easy on us!

Ooh, I'm definitely anticipating this Los Angeles trip for Jen! I'm also curious as to whether Jen's cool attitude towards Rob's "intimate" scenes in the movie stays that way, or if she ends up having a harder time than she thought she would. And, as always on the back burner of the plot, what's theatergirl up to? Yeah, I still love this story. :)

Absense makes the heart grow fonder! Or don't they say... It seems it may be the case with these two, they are hopeless when they are apart!
Jen really needs to get her bum into gear and get to a Dr, pregnant or not, something is going on and she needs to get it sorted out.
I hope LA isn't too hard for her, so she can get back to her man soon.

I absolutely agree that she needs to see a doctor... something's most definitely up. I wonder if her reasoning for NOT going to the doctor is related to events from the accident. an innate fear of doctors. we'll see.
Ah LA. if it was too much for her to go with Rob... chances are it won't be great... but here's hoping!

Oh bloody hell Steph...I am just in tears right now. I cannot imagine what our dear girl is going through...she's so alone, and it just kills me.
And I adored Rob in this chapter. He has his own vulnerabilities and insecurities, but the one thing he has always had is unconditional love from his family. What he is offering Jen, in offering his flat, is his unconditional support. That no matter what she has to deal with, she is coming home to him in some way. His ability to offer himself to her with no reservations, no limitations on his love, that's what Jen needs to make it through what lies ahead for her.
"Will you please stay at my flat? I'd like to be able to give you that. It would be nice to know you are sleeping where I do."
Just...sigh.
I can only imagine what writing this means to you...it means so much that you share this with us.

Author's Response: Alone... alonealonealone. You know, she thinks she is alone, but leave it to Rob to offer so much.
If she were proud, she would say no to the flat... but deep down she needs that connection with him. As simple as him giving her the Stoli, offering whatever piece of himself he can for her. And she with the recordings. They understand the need for the connection, even if they don't consciously understand it.
that line... to know they will be sleeping together although apart... sigh...

You know, I love Rob and Jen together, but I love them individually, too. You have developed Jen to the point that I can see her so clearly. The loneliness they both feel is heartbreaking. I especially feel for Jen, having to do all of this by herself.

*cries* They're truly wilting & dying whilst they're apart. I know it's got to be done and I'm so glad that Jen came clean to her man about having to go to LA and why but it hurts to see them missing each other so badly. I can only imagine what Rob's going to be like on set trying to film those scenes in Bel Ami, all the while wishing that the girl in his arms was his Jen. :(
