Another wonderful chapter:) I feel so awful for Jen...the fear she was feeling was horrible. I can't wait for all of this to be over and have her back with Rob..but I'm a little excited for the next chapter. There is so much we don't know about Jen's life before Rob and I think talking to her Father in Law will let us see into that life.

I LOVED it when Jen started beating up Nick! I was laughing because it was so great. I did feel bad for him afterward when he tried to apologize. I sort of wish Jen had told Rob what she did, and still hope she does tell him. Also, I know I say it every time, but I'm still anxious to learn more about theatergirl/have her in the story more!
Author's Response: I am glad you felt something for Nick when he apologized. not that it forgives him of all he did, but he does regret what he did to them...
Rob and Jen both need to open up more. they keep thinking that they are protecting the other by holding in bad news or fears, when really it only harms... as we see with Jen getting herself worked up...
YAY! for theatregirl! not to worry! she will be making more appearances! Remember Me in New York is just around the corner after all!

That amount of stress isn't good to anyone. I liked the fight with Nick and all that he said, let you thinking about how crapy it is to be an actor. Anyway looking forward to that week in LA. BTW, she'll be working to, right?

I'm glad you had Jen punch him. And I'm glad he apologized. But he's not forgiven, not for a long shot - hope Jen sees that too.
So, anxiety attacks clearly related to all things LA. And doesn't even know where her husband is buried. She really does need to deal with things to ever try to get over her panic attacks. It'll never happen if she has no closure.

Damn, I think I had a panic attack when poor Jen was in the car and she realised they've been driving in LA, in the RAIN and going on that damed bridge. Quite frankly I'm surprised our beloved Jen did not vomit all over the lovely rental car!
Please stop shutting Rob out Jen, I know that you're tired & sick and exhausted but you'd be surprised with how much he can help you if you'd only let him in with what's going on in your head. :(
WTG over the classic right hook into Nick's face. Deserved more let me tell you! Nick's lucky that Joe was holding Jen back because she would have tacked his balls to the ceiling the way she was headed. Not that I blame her - she hates him immeasurably for the pain he caused her, but even more so for seeing first hand on a daily basis what it did to Rob, and not truly feeling sorry at that point for his interference.
Bring on the next chapter - yes, I am selfishly motivated by knowing that the sooner Jen deals with LA - with her former father-in-law, finally lets go of Mike; then we'll have our adorable RobJen reunited :)

Ok, you got her there; now she just needs to get through. I don't like her dissembling with Rob; he is a big boy and shouldn't be mislead as to her emotional / physical state, regardless of how much stress she thinks he's under.
Also, I think we've had this discussion before, but I totally disbelieve the whole theory of needing Rob and Kristen to appear to be single or together rather than with others. However, for purposes of the story it works very well.
Now that I've nitpicked my points with your characters, let me say -- good chapter! Thanks, Steph!

i totally agree with you.. she needs to be open and honest with Rob. and so does he. they both have this need to protect the other from things that truly need to be brought out into the open. it can only cause more harm than good by bottling it up inside and trying to manage it yourself- i.e. Jen getting sicker as she gets more stressed....and Rob smoking more and becoming jealous...
Ah the Robsten thing... we have talked about, and i agree to an extent. I think it is wiley business to keep people guessing, and the idea of a real life Bella Edward sells, but it is not necessary. and Rob and Kristen need their own lives, whether together or not, and it is their business, not Summit's.But i can see Rob and Kristen agreeing to it early on to sell the product, not seeing how crazy it woud really get... they may be regretting it all now... whether they are or aren't, they are stuck with the scrutiny...
haha truly.... i love your picking... it makes me think harder and strive to make you think harder! so thank you and bring it on! :)

I did see some trains... and i saw my Mack truck and the pretty on Saturday at the convention... from about 150 feet away.... but still i saw him, and appreciated him from a distance... the crazies... yeah... there are a lot of them... and Mack and GI Joe had there hands full, i am sure...
i think Rob is pretty lucky to have defenders like he does... Mack is pretty hardcore when you see him in person... seriously... Mack Truck is a great description of him!
oh and Jen kicking butt. everyone loves that! hehehehe. so glad her passion and devotion is appreciated...
