I feel a bit confused as to where Rob's head is in this chapter, here at the end. Can't wait to see where it goes in the next update. I am glad that Jen is feeling sure of herself and beginning to get herself back together! That's awesome!! Great job, as usual!!!!

Oh my God!  The Drama!!  Jeez, I almost had a heart attack with the Summit mafia scene.  Damn!

Rob won't cave for money, but I wonder if they used Jennifer to threaten him with.  He'd do anything for her, too.  If they said they'd destroy her to make him dance to their tune, he'd probably do it to protect her.

Agh! I can't wait until next chapter! So exciting.  And wonderfully written, as usual.  I love this story, Steph.  OH! I just thought--this chapter will be fabulous from Rob's POV in OTT. Hee!

Ok.... Now I'm confused.... Really confused..... And a little pissed off at your Rob if I may say so... He let her be manhandled like that??? And kept out of the party by force????? While he made a decision about them, effectively changing the decision they had come to together previously (a decision that wasn't easy for Jen to make or accept) just like that...? Without any discussion, conversation, involvement of lawyers, standing his ground, fighting for them, fighting for her???

I like this story, I really do (which is why I'm reading it). And I really do like your Jen very much and your Rob... But unless that boy finishes the "May I introduce you to Ms. Jennifer Brown" with something no less powerful than "the love of my life" (when he's got a woman next to him that adores him, that just three weeks previously miscarried his child, that he lives with, that he loves with all his heart and that he seems to want to spend the rest of his life with) then he really, really needs to get his head checked... One does not treat the woman they respect, love and adore like a dirty little secret by allowing her to once again (!) be bullied and shoved into a corner, be made to feel bad about her self and her past (while absolutely nothing's wrong with her past!), her intentions, her age, her miscarriage....

Honestly, I hope your boy has it in him to stand up and fight for his beloved... Otherwise I don't even know what he's doing anymore...

I realise this may come across as a negative review, but it really isn't. I do like the story, but the way Jen was treated by Summit in this chapter coupled with the end scene and the cliffy has just left me cold, breathless and terrified for her... For them... I sincerely hope Rob can find it in himself to be a man (though if his looking frightened is any clue then I'd say that's not a very good sign), to act like a man and to defend his Jen from the people and abuse she's having to withstand because of her relationship with him... Otherwise what on earth is he doing....

Right now, Rob doesn't know what has happened. He doesn't know she has been harmed, detained, assaulted, the only thing he assumes is that she disappeared for a bit, and is now in yet another outfit. BUT, i can say that Big Man may have definitely put a bug in his ear about what could happen should they come out. Who's to say, Big Man didn't scare him into trying to protect her. 

but would he let that change his mind, would he be coerced like that, seeing her walk determined to him? oooooh... we'll see.. 

oh, i don't see this as a negative review at all. i see this as the thinking through i want you all to experience.  to feel that fear, that anxiety that she is feeling. that's awesome. 

There are definite answers coming up. never fear.

Poor Jen, freaking out like that over her period.  At least that's all it was, and now she knows her body is healed.  Thank God theatregirl was there with her, and Rob was so understanding.

Those bastards from Summit are something else, trying to buy Jen off and threatening to harm Rob's career.  Of course they want him with Kristen, which is probably true in RL too, but Jen is not someone to be toyed with.

Loved the cavalry coming to Jen's rescue, but Rob's actions are scaring me.  I know he wouldn't sell them out, but I am afraid of what the Summit Mafia told him.

Now I really can't wait for an update.

Jen is most definitely someone not to toy with. I think we will see a much stronger Jen after this trip, her first real venture into Rob's world. 

I am sure Summit is persuasive in how their big stars are viewed in public, part of my agitation to them needing that privacy....

Hi, I one the the silent readers and I love this story!  Actually I was going to review a couple of times but I read the story on my Ipad and couldn't get it to type.  I just had to give you a thumbs up in Nick's firing.  I'm not real fond of the real-life Nick because he just looks "shady".  I hope Rob is as smart as I think he is and isn't taken to the cleaners by him.  I know you shouldn't base your impressions on someones appearance but since I'll never meet him that's all I've got.  I so love your Rob and Jen!  Thank you for taking  your time to keep us all entertained!

Hi Steph,

Great chapter! I'm learning so much about beer. It's funny that I just reread one of the LOC chappies that included a lot of beer discussion so I definietely have to try some of these. Every time I walk by the beer isle in the supermarket I try to guess which ones Rob likes...of course, I wouldn't know since I have never drunk beer before and have zero knowledge about alcohol.

I loved how they did something totally normal together like going into town...it was also great to see them getting closer emotionally by the end of the chapter.
