A perfect ending, for them. I thought after the last chapter there was a hint that perhaps Jen got her wish and she was pregnant. But life isn't always fair. And they got their HEA, albeit differently than they'd hoped. You did great. Thank you so much for this journey. I enjoyed it more than I ever expected.
I noticed you didn't mark complete. Is there more? Maybe?
Author's Response: LOL! I couldn't bear to mark it complete right away. I had to wait a little while. It's so final when that button gets marked! But alas, it is for sure the end of this long winded tale.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, through all its twists and turns and sometimes unfair outcomes. Happiness is found in many paths, and this was definitely their route.

I'm a sobbing mess of deniability! I don't want it to be over!!!! It can't be over!!! Okay, I'll get a grip now.....that was the sexiest lemon, the sweetest parental moments, and the most beautiful ending to a truly amazing love story. I have loved every single minute, word, emotion, laugh of this story. I love Mary Clare already and not just because we share a name. As you know, I have lovingly followed this story from beginning to end and am in the process of reading OTT. I feel like I know Rob and Jen and this final chapter is just 'icing on the cake.' I so wish it didn't have to end, but want you to know you have filled many entertaining hours for me...living in another world and wishing I were Jen.

IF I was lucky enough to get Rob alone in a bed, I think I WOULD go all Edward in his ass and just stare at him constantly. Take pictures for proof, listen to him breathe, watch his whiskers grow over night. You know, all the things normal stalkers do?

So I was right about Jen being pregnant, but Nick's involvement in this was way out of left field. Maybe in saving her, he's trying to save himself? Is redemption possible? Can I be a fly on the wall when Rob finds out about all of this and the fact that Nick was instrumental in saving the woman he once tried to destroy?
Eek. I can just imagine the headlines if Nick hadn't found her in time..."Mystery Woman Found Dead in RPattz' Flat!" *shudders.* So glad that didn't happen.
Thanks also for keeping this as real as a fiction can be. I love that you're not compromising your characters or handing out an easy fix for the sake of an HEA.

Author's Response: thanks hun. this was one of the most difficult chapters to write, but part of the main outline that I knew needed to be written. Not everyone can have the beautiful wedding and babies running around. And I wanted that to be clear- you can love, be loved, and have the best of lives, even when life thinks otherwise.
Ah Nick. yep. An interesting turn of events with him finding her. I had always a plan for redemption for him. He's not such a bad guy- just made a large mistake... I will touch on Rob's reaction to Nick in OTT. this whole sequence from Rob's POV is gonna be hard to write.... sigh

I thought Jen's inability to have children was a residual of the accident that took her husband and child (emergency hysterectomy, perhaps?) Now, I wonder if she was either misinformed about her future ability to have children or if she merely assumed that she couldn't have any. It certainly sounds like Clare might get what she's wishing for. (Jen's morning nausea, enlarged breasts, glowing).

I think it's a wonderful idea for Rob and Jen to redo the child's room together, and here's a thought for what the room could be: a room for doing yoga, tai-chi and meditation. Feel free to make this Rob's idea (and don't forget the Tantra chair-I imagine they'd both enjoy it).
