So glad I felt compelled to start yours. This is great and I know those dreams from which she woke frustrated. Had some of those myself. ;) I also love that she reads fanfic. Speaking of "The Office," have you checked out the R/K/T gif on my siggy? You might get a chuckle out of it.

It would be easy for me to focus on the personal and serious theme to this chapter. I've experienced similair procedures. It's one of the reasons I put off reading the chapter until now. Wanted to wait until I knew I could without interuption, and was in the right head space for it.
Anyway, I want to focus on the comment made by Jen in the clinic about "exploding ovaries", because it made me laugh out loud. If Rob wanted to some charity work for his female fans, visiting infertity clinics might be the best idea. *giggle* If the fathers-to-be could get over Rob's affect on their women, and focus on "the ends justify the means concept", Rob could really make a difference. LOL.
The doctor and nurse's response to meeting Him really had me giggling.
Oh, one more thing, thanks for the reminder of the timeline for this story in your A/N. Sometimes it's hard to keep it straight, jumping back and forth between this and OTT. :). So much to look forward to...

Now that I'm all caught up can I say that this story consumes WAY to much of my thoughts in RL! Seriously, when I was watching the 2011 MMA's I kept expecting to see a pan of the crowd where Jen & Leah sat all fangirl like. And the Best Kiss win... and the speech to Reese! Don't even get me started! Rob without a filter KILLS me every time! LOVE him dearly! Let's just say depending on how long this story turn out to be that you have a lot of material from Rob just in this two hours alone. Well as I now have to wait for the next chapter I will happily skip over to On The Threshold!

Jen really does put alot of pressure on herself and her desire to be a mother and give Rob a child is eating her up. Rob is right, she shouldn't risk her own life for the sake of having a child, I know easier said than done. All the hard work comes after the baby is here, nothing and no-one can prepare you for that, and it never ends.
I know Jen is coming round to the idea more that it's the mothering and love that a child needs and she doesn't really like the idea of a surrogate because the baby would not be biologically hers, but couldn't they harvest Jen's eggs and do the IVF that way so the baby would be hers and Robs she just wouldn't be able to carry it? That would solve her biological dilema.
Lots to digest and think about in this chapter. I'm glad they talked and put off any big decisions, they need to take this one slowly, what will be will be, as they say.

Well, he is such a flirt. They are just trying to do what is best for the other and then they get back to what is best for themself. It is such a weird circle to dance in. But travelling with a cello, now.... that... is .... something. But the whole playing together, physically. That is one image I never had before. Love new things.

I am thinking Jen is an ISFJ. So loveing, caring, so much of her focus is on others and too little on herself. Carrying her hurt deep inside her not letting others help her with her burden. I can appreciate it her very much. She is a wonderful character!
I am looking forward to Rob opening up even more. It was a very touching scene with the two of them in bed.

I absolutely love this story. Usually I shy away from fanfiction that revolves around real people, usually because it's creepy reading them in false situations. But this story got me addicted after the first chapter! I love what you've done with the characters, and I have to say that before reading this, I was not a big fan of Robert Pattinson. But after reading (and doing a lot of goole searches!), I've started to respect him more. I never liked him as Edward Cullen, to be honest, but after seeing him in some interviews and looking up more information on him, I'm beginning to really respect him as an actor. And I think more people really need to do the same. I'm a bad judge since I've only seen in him Twilight movies and in Harry Potter. Reading these chapters makes me want to see his other films pretty bad.
So keep it up! Can't wait to see how this story ends!

You absolutely brought me to tears in this chapter. Jen's struggle to realize that there is so much more to motherhood than biology. What took you a chapter to write.......took me 5 years to accept. And the reality of that truth became realization when our baby boy was placed in my arms......5 days after he was born to another woman. But that phone call that came to tell me I was a mother......I became a mom that day and it honestly has nothing to do with biology. My little boy is mine in every way! YOu handled a difficult topic with so much grace and tact. I loved this chapter

Awesome chapter. You write him so well, at least how I imagine him to be...loving, supportive, strong, but silly when he feels like it. And boy was he ever feeling like it at the MVAs!
Love that Jen has come around to his way of thinking and that tension is gone. I want her to conceive and give birth to his child so badly though! My mom had endometriosis and managed to have both me and my sister on one third of one ovary, so miracles to happen. They were within weeks of adopting when she found out she was pregnant with me.
Can't wait to see how Jen deals with the Twilight madness!

Maybe they should try trotting him around the fertifility clinic as a scientific experiment to see how many women spontaneously become fertile. What a horrible thought that another woman would be carrying Rob's child, but it would be worse for them both for her to be bed-bound with no sex and no travel so she couldn't be near him when he works. (Though I would love me some drama where he thinks he might lose her during the pregnancy but of course doesn't.) Has anyone else ever wished they were ridiculously wealthy so they could get you to quit your day job and pay you to write both POVs of this story full-time?

Oh Steph, as hard as I try, there are just no words to describe how your stories make me feel. In this chapter you have taken me from having my heart torn from my chest in the doctor's office, to despair and feelings of inadequacy while watching the video, to anger and destruction when she wnet into the music room, to the reawakening of the power of love when they played the cello together. And I'm not just describing the storyline, those are the feelings and emotions I went through as I read your words. I always know that you are going to take me to places that I might never find on my own, and for that I thank you profusely. You broaden my horizons with each new chapter regardless of which story I am reading.
Now, having shared probably more than you cared to hear, I soooo want to learn to play the cello. Damn girl, that passage nearly made me spontaneously combust. So much tenderness, so much love, sooo erotic. Completely captivating.
I can't wait to see how things go when they get to Vancouver!
