Poor ol' Emmett!

Author's Response:

I know, but I love Emmett so much! Thanks for the review.

Lmao. It makes you wonder. But I think they can hear him. And hear if the ball hits the ground first. It makes sense if Bella could hear the car passing on the highway when she was changed. (I think they usually try to ignore the distant noises like that unless they are listening specifically for something) It would be so funny if he did cheat though. lol. You can just see it. hehe

Yay!  It got posted!!  I still love it :-)

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to cuddle up with a bunch of chapters in need of beta'ing... ;-)

Forget how he catches the ball or whether he cheated ... what I want to know is how do the Cullens play supernatural baseball and not break all of the bats and unfurl the baseballs? This one always bothered me about the baseball scene in the book and the movie. They make no mention of multiple bats or balls. If they are hitting that hard and fast to sound like thunder, they would need a bat for each turn and there would hardly be a ball left to catch or throw. Someone explain that one to me, please.

Author's Response:

Definitely worth a ponder :) If they used an aluminium bat rather than a wooden one it may last a little longer...

Cute story!  As for how they know Edward catches the ball, I never thought about it, but I suppose they may be able to hear it if they're listening for it.

Author's Response:

:) How unimaginative!
I also have another theory that involves some math, the arc and velocity of the ball, and the time it takes Edward to retrieve it... it gets complicated...

Author's Response:
