Wow, just stumbled across this little story and I've got to say that I am lovin' it. It's original and more realistic. I've always thought, "Really, Bella? Killing yourself on the inside and no one helped you?" Lauren is sweet here (as sweet as she can get at least) and it is a refreshing insight into the character.
Strengthening the bond between the four girls was much more like real life teenagers. And Bella should've got a rebound guy that wasn't Jake. In fact, I think it is really amazing the amount of effort you put in to make your story correct in time lines and such.
Also, I think you should know I find your Author's Notes quite amusing at times. =)
Keep up the awesome work, kudos to your ninja writing skills. Hope to read more soon (but take your time if you want).
... I wonder what will happen when Edward reunites with Bella, and she's done more than the virginial Edward could ever dream of?

OMG thanks you so much for writing such a detailed review. It really makes my day to read it. There is definitely much more to come as far as getting over and lots more getting under. I am still working out the Edward and Bella reunion(s)? in my head but there is definitely more to come.

This is actually my favorite chapter yet. I love how you were able to parallel B&E's situation with "Splendor". It's one of my favorite parts of SM's Twilight...how she's able to always relate her underlying plotline to a classic novel. This chapter reminded me of that a lot. Keep it up girl! You rock :)
Author's Response: Thank you. It was just really hard to write, because I have not seen the movie in a while and it is a bit fuzzy in my head so IMDB helped out - a lot! I do a lot of parallels with pop culture references in this story. I think because when I was younger I used to try to find similarities with other characters in movies, tv, and books to my own situations.

I adore this story because its so unique and different.
It's refreshing to see Lauren as this round character with many dimensions, not just a stereotyped character. Usually the humans are so neglected, and its intresting to see them utilized this way. I find it remarkable that you've kept everyone in character. It makes this fic just that much better.
Jason and his taste is books are impeccable. Its nice to see Bella at least trying to be normal. These things take time, though, of course.

LOL I totally loved this chapter.
First off Mack Morrison is the shit or at least that song is lol
I am in love with Jason, the Shel Silverstein reference made my heart flutter.
Lauren and Chip was Hot but I wished for more...
Bella as that girl was kinda funny but sad. And it worked so well.

Whoo Hoo! Fast update. Love it! I actually forgot the fact that the missing hikers and reports of large "bears" would still happen. I was just so excited to see Bella moving on in such a positive way. *sing songy* I wonder what is going to happen?

I took that SAT on October 8, 2005, haha. I was a senior in high school for the 2005-2006 year as well and I totally remember Uggs/skirt combo being a hot fashion trend (though now I definitely am not sure as to what I could've possibly been thinking wearing that in public, haha).
Anyways, I'm loving the story so far, and I can't wait to read more! I'm loving how you made Bella a realistic girl going through a tough break-up. Yes, she is a bit depressed at times, but it doesn't run her entire life. I like how she is starting to be independent, and I hope she completely blows Edward away next time he sees her. I will eagerly be awaiting an update!
Author's Response: Thank you so so much for your review. I admit it I wear uggs in the wintertime to class tucked into jeans. Bella is not going to magically recover it is a long bouncy road for her to travel on. I try to bring in as much humor as I can to balance out the angst.
