How SELFISH of Alice, to let Bella go through all that pain for nothing.
Author's Response: I don't think all of that pain is for nothing. Bella has a lot to realize and think about before she forgives anyone. She may be initially happy or excited to see the Cullens but she still has a lot of baggage to contend with.

Ahhh...good. I'm glad it was Esme who made "first contact." And I love Bella's dream of Alice checking her watch and tapping her foot. TOO cute.
Let Edward go be angsty for a while. He saw some painful things and he needed to see them. The man is an idiot. I hope that Esme and Alice can boost Bella's spirits and remind her that she is very much loved.

Oh I loved it! I'm so glad Esme & Alice met up with Bella! She sounds so lost. And I'm so glad Edward's suffering! He so deserves it! When is he going to realise he needs to repair the damage he's done properly and make Bella's life better - and it's not by buying a computer! (Actually, I'm happy for a wee delay on that if Bella's being looked after by Alice & co. and he is tortured abit more!!!! )

There was one dog that kept jumping up and down and trying to hump the other dogs. I missed Jake; he hadn't written me yet.
HAHAHAHA. Yeah that was Jacob in the Twilight series, best description.
I love this story and hope it is updated more quickly. It's the most realistic.

I loved this little closing chapter in Lauren's book, and Bella's as well. She's off to NYU and new adventures... and I can't help but wonder if there might be any vampires living in the East as well :-).
I appreciated the realness in this chapter, particularly with the physical relationships. So many times, people write teen sex as perfect and so many orgasms and blah blah, and the truth is that even when you've been with a partner for a long time, it still doesn't always work! Bella's concerns about having betayed Edward felt very heartbreaking.
