Grace is annoying but Kate can hold her own. She is exactly right for Rob! I'm so happy they are in London and are so comfortable with each other. She loves him...she felt it and nearly said as much. I can't wait to see who says it first.

But didn't Nick and Grace arrive together? Wouldn't he have told her in the car that he arrived later because he gave up his seat to Rob's girlfriend? Eh, not a big deal, just wondering.
And while a lemon festival might be nice, I understand that you can't really do that. It shouldn't be reduced to a PWP story. It's great the way it is. It's probably why I enjoy it even more when we have some citrus. ;)

There's so much I like in this chapter, but some of it really stands out.
"“Does that scare you?”
“A little,” I admitted quietly.
“Me, too,” he whispered, pressing his forehead to mine."
I really love this, that they're talking, admitting to being scared of what's happening between them, but it's so, so important that they continue to be open and honest. I must admit that I'm afraid of where the angst part of this story comes in. :-S
I also find it really sweet that he fell asleep on her after their shower. It feels like it's such a "Rob-ting" to do, because however weird it sounds, I can't help but wonder how close to RL-Rob RH-Rob is. Anyway, it just seemed like a "boyish" thing to do, and boy did he wake up at the right time! I love how nice Nick is, but Grace..? *grumbles*
I read a lot of fics, but this is one of the few I actually get really excited about when there's an update. I've been wondering why I enjoy RPF's (especially without K) so much, and I think it's because I like the alternative. There's just too much drama on the web and people are much too invested, and your RPF's just feels like an alternate universe, if you know what I mean.
I'll quit rambling now. I hope to see a new chapter from you soon, and I also hope your mother is doing better! :)

Author's Response: Hi hun! Now that they've finally both taken the leap, they're realizing how much they've felt for each other all along. It's scary, but they know what they want now and aren't going to give it up willingly. Rob is a little older and wiser in my story, and who knows what he's like in RL, but I'd like to think he won't lose all his boyish charm as he ages. ;)

Wisper yells "Grace is such a BITCH!" "“A ginger,Rob’s branching out.” Yuck. Definitely pink slip material!!!! :D I swooned at Rob's defensive words about Kate!!!! Yeah, I do believe he wants this to be "more!" Also glad Kate is finally allowing herself to commit a bit more!!!
There were so many favorite lines in this chapter but my two most favs were:
1 - "I just think, I think it would be amazing…even more amazing than what we’ve already done. I don’t know if I would have thought about it if I hadn’t gotten carried away earlier, but I did, so now I can’t stop thinking about it…” and
2 - a bit of boy scout Rob "be prepared" - He reached into a drawer in the bedside table and rummaged around for a second before dropping a double handful of foil squares on top. Pursing my lips in amusement, I observed the small mountain of prophylactics and turned to look at him. “A bit ambitious, don’t you think?” “Just planning ahead,” he replied with a lofty smirk. “I didn’t want us to have to forage for spare condoms again. And soon we won’t need them anyway.” My lips quirked. “You do remember there’s about a seven day waiting period after I get the shot, right?” His face fell, and then he gave an exaggerated shrug and a long-suffering sigh. “In that case, we may need to get another box. These won’t last us an entire week.”
As much as I loved "Escape Into A New Beginning" I do believe these two are going to be my favs that you've written!!!! Simply love Kate's personality here!!!!
And you even went so far as to have our dear boy fully clothed and barefooted -- bit my lip when I read that!!!! Sexy as hell!!!

Another wonderful installment! Sure would love to have Rob help me handle my jetlag! Of course, then HE faceplants into a sleep coma on the bed...so funny! And I can just hear RL Rob giggling over his girl's use of the word "shenanigans"! Glad to see there seems to be some support from Nick. It will be interesting how the public responds to Rob with a girlfriend in your timeline which has him a bit older than he is in RL. Not to be overlooked...THANKS for the shower hotness. Hope things smooth out for you in RL. I will be anxiously awaiting your next update when you are able to get to it!

Rob's declarations made my heart soar for Kate! But that Grace...she's a piece of work. I think it would be good for Rob to know that Grace's feelings for him go beyond professional interest. I really appreciated Nick's attitude, though. That should help Rob and Kate in the long term. I was surprised that Nick hadn't said anything to Grace about giving up his plane seat though.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Nick hadn't had a chance to talk to Grace yet, because he had just flown in, too, and probably felt that discussion was best done in person. He'll be a big help to Rob and Kate. Although Grace was being a bitch, she was also right--Kate will be in the public eye now and Nick can help her.
Hee--there won't be sexy times in every chapter, but they're still in the early stages of their relationship. They'll have a little trouble keeping their hands off each other for a while. ;)

lmao... i love the ending there... Grace was definitely jealous, which actually kinda makes me feel bad for her because she's stuck watching the guy she likes get together with girls and she really can't say much because of her job =/ but still, that's was just plain rude and I'm sure she knows it... Rob definitely doesn't though, sooo clueless XD I'm looking forward to seeing how this relationship plays out now that Grace is in the picture (well kinda in the picture) and has all the necessary ammo to screw the relationship up >.> great job and plz update soon ^^
