Esme & Edward? Good call, Jen! I love the song that inspired this - have done for many years and I think you managed to capture the essence of it really well. I found myself feeling happy that Esme was able to move on and find some peace, but oddly, sad for Edward. She was clearly important to him and he was able to put her first and give up his own desire to see her again. A beautiful, sweet and touching piece. x

I debated back and forth for days whether Esme should have been the one at the house in the end...but it didn't feel right. It was more about following the music, and the song wasn't really a HEA, but more of a healing process. I'm glad you think I captured what it's about!

Well I was a little nervous to read this, but it turned out great! I love the hope and promise of a future and the way it all came full circle. Esme indirectly brings Edward to Bella- nice! Love it :)

OK... have to admit I had the EWWWWW moment there during the smexin's. But I got better. :)
It was well written and enjoyable, and I love that song which made it even better.
Author's Response: Sadly, I'm sure there will be many people with the ewww moment between these two...if they even read that far lol I admit I was one of them when I thought of the pairing at first, too.
