Wow, lots of thoughts and feelings for Edward in this one. I did think that Edward had been raped, I couldn't think of anything else that would cause those types of nightmares for him.
So Edward is now worrying and confused about his feelings and panicking that he doesn't really love Bella, I know it's easier said than done but he really should talk to her, as we know he'll find her more understanding than he thinks.
It's so great to have you back, I've really missed this story, please update again soon.

I have finally taken the plunge and bought a new one (my credit card was not happy) so I should be able to post the next chapter very soon.
I love exploring the back stories of these guys and the more I do the more that I find to affect their futures as well. There will be more about everyone's past coming up which will explain a lot about their characters and how they handle the repercussions of their night together. A bit more about Edward's past is coming up in the next chapter and will be crucial to a few things that happen. Stay tuned.

Hmmm, what did James do to Bella? Was he one of those people to physically take out his frustration on someone else? I know you won't tell me but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Edward and Jasper are certainly becoming closer and more comfortable with each other, it's lovely to see their friendship blossom. It seems that Edward is beginning to question a bit more, about his reactions to thoughts of Jasper and mentions about his past and the 'involuntary reaction' he had. It sounds as though he had a really traumatic experience.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter. The scale of devastation in Queensland is unbelievable and I hope that you are safe and well, take care.

Author's Response: Hi Jane, thanks so much for reading and the great review. I was lucky I am about 30 mins from the floods but I did live in Brisbane for 15 years and many of my family and friends were flooded out. In fact, I saw a pic of the last house I lived there and it was flooded to the roofline - it was a two story house too.

I was kinda iffy about going on with this story, not really knowing where it's heading. But, I guess that's good that a story can make me hestant to read it or not. Usually, stories don't make me worry. Sure I get excited when I reach the climax of a story, but that's normal. With your story, I'm already biting my nails before I even open the chapter.
All in all, this story has got me going crazy, but a good kind of crazy; the kind of crazy where you need a drink to unwind afterward.

Oh wow, more of an insight into Edward's thoughts about both Jasper and Bella. Even in whilst Bella dreams about Jasper she is re-assuring Edward that it's in her past, why does she hate confrontation so much?
Edward's reaction to the thought of Jasper with Bella was interesting, of course we know he felt the spark with both of them and even though he felt that with Jasper he didn't seem to really freak out like you might expect. Edward also felt comforted by Jasper's touch, he didn't shy away from it and neither was he repulsed by the contact, has Edward never thought he may have feelings for men as well as women?
This is a really good story and I look forward to each update.

Author's Response: Hi Jane, thanks so much for reading and the fantastic review. Sorry its taken me so long to reply - I live in Qld, Australia and many friends and family have been affected by the flooding this past week so I have been a little distracted.
I can't say anything about Bella and her confrontational issues yet...but they will come up in future chapters and in some ways cause a lot of misunderstandings...
Yes, Edward is definitely reacting as one would expect to Bella's dreams. He definitely did wonder about his sexuality after his ordeal (more of which will be revealed soon) but was assured that the physical effects were involuntary...he's not too sure yet about what is happening with Jasper.
I have just this moment uploaded the next chapter, once it has been validated, it will be updated.

wow!!! with now reading both sides of these mens stories. I can't wait to know Edward's past and to see what happends in between these two men that are in love with bella. I hope they don't get at odds with both wanting to keep her forever, that could get sticky if they get jealous!!!!

I love this story! But Bella and Edward seem to be toying with poor Jasper :(
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading the story and the review. I don't think Bella and Edward are toying with Jasper as much as Edward doesn't yet understand his feelings towards Jasper and a bit of jealousy caused him to let Jasper hear him and Bella together... Don't forget that these two don't know Jasper's true feelings about them either. As far as Bella particularly is concerned they were fuck buddies basically and Jasper has never let on how he feels. This will cause problems later on too...
Chapter 6 is being validated right now which shows Edward's feelings becoming even more obvious.

Oh wow, it's so good to hear from Edward. I loved his description of meeting Bella, his thoughts and feelings and the lemon was hot.....verrry hot.
His description of his nightmares are leading me to believe that Edward was attacked and raped back in Chicago, he still seems to need some help with that. Will he ever tell Bella and us what happened to him?
Edwards proposal to Bella was so sweet and lovely, awww and the meeting with Jasper, well what can I say, a spark like that needs to investigated further, lol.
I loved this chapter and I can't wait for next one where we hear from Edward again on 'getting to know' Jasper, lol.

I loved writing Edward and he talked to me a lot...in fact the next 2/3 chapters are all from Edward and his romance with Bella and his growing friendship with Jasper. Author's Response: Yay...I'm glad you like it! I had so much fun writing Edward's take on things and I can't believe how wordy he is....he just won't shut up in my head lol so there are a couple of chapters coming up just from his point of view. A little bit more of Edward's nightmare will be revealed in the next few chapters. Chapters 5 & 6 are all about Edward's growing romance with Bella and his growing friendship with Jasper. And these chapters are also where Bella's dreams start to be very interesting (remember she mentioned them in Chapter 2...) Chapter 5 is with the validation beta right now so hopefully will be up soon. Stay tuned.
