I can see Tanya as a prostitute. A good reason why she is a succubus too. And desperate.. she is a whore. I hate Tanya XD
Author's Response: See, I like Tanya. Even though she's set up as a possible interloper between Edward and Bella, she's portrayed as a smart, brave and capable leader who's survived many dangers and sorrows. She's got an actual character rather than being just some dumb blonde for Edward to discard ...or at least that's how I fill in the blanks.
I didn't come up with the idea of Tanya being an ex-prostitute. I keep getting the impression it was in Midnight Sun somewhere, but I guess it's just fanon. Kinolaughs's wonderful 'fic "Before the Wedding" mentions it.
