Alright ladies and gents, it's high time for an update to this bio. Bete Noir stands completed as it is. For my fans of it, I understand the disappointment to see it end, but I did leave it with a soft close. That means that someday should the inspiration come, I may add a sequel.
My current work of art is Roses in Winter. This is a very emotionally packed, family-centered tale of heartache and healing as Angela takes the journey from being a Weber to becoming a Cullen. This story does not focus on the Edward/Bella theme or showcase Bella or Edward to any dominating extent - I say this only as an advisory and you will see the same in the story's summary. Roses in Winter is Angela's tale, with a strong focus on a blossoming father/daughter relationship between her and Carlisle. There are many threads woven into this story that come together to tell her tale and the stories of those around her.
I have completed my own original manuscript entitled 'Bailey' and am currently pitching it to literary agents. Wish me luck!

Oh that was beautiful. Simply...beautiful. I have loved this story from its very first words and I have loved it to its last. Your talent for the written word has kept me captivated throughout, and though I would've wished for more, this ending was perfect, natural and full of grace. Well done my dear. Well done indeed.

I love Carlisle so much that I can't just let him be too perfect; he has to be complex and conflicted, too. I thought about writing more (my daughter requested that I write Carlisle and Esme's wedding!), but I felt that the point was to resolve Carlisle's ethical and emotional dilemmas, and getting him to the point where he could show himself a little of the compassion he's so generous with for others. It was fun to watch him struggle with jealousy, desire and violence for the first time.

Title: Chapter 5: Done All Wrong
A werewolf?! Dominic is a werewolf? Good turn, TL, good turn! :-) This should be interesting. I wonder which of the Quilette clan bed his mother, or if perhaps it was even one of them. Very intriguing, I'm not as turned away as I feared I would be. Though, when Bella becomes a member of the Voltuir, there are no promises to be had as I fear it will only come as a result of the destruction of the Cullens. :-(

Poor Edward. I wonder if that's what happened to Marcus after Didyme. To lose one's mate, even if only through a deceitful kidnapping. Volturi need to be brought down a peg or two. I always wondered how Marcus or someone else would rule without Aro's and Ciaus' influences.

I have enjoyed tapping into my darker side for this story, but I have to admit, it can lead to some heavy feelings. The best part though has been giving some "logic" behind Aro's behavior. Getting into his head has been very interesting. Of course giving more character to Marcus and Tanya has been enjoyable too.

Now, see, if Carlisle were into turning humans into vampires, I would say that he needs to add an Army Ranger or Navy Seal to his coven. Someone who not only knows how to fight, but knows covert ops as well. That would be a sure fire way to strike a blow back at the Volturi.
