It never ceases to amaze me the things people will do to their children. SUCH A TRUE STATEMENT. I work with abused children and it is amazing. I really like this. However, CPS would have had to talk to Bella first and/or the police would have had to detain. CPS couldn't just say yeah she is staying with you. So I am wondering if Charlise did something like contact CPS in the county and they contacted law enforcement to detain based on records and the emergency of the situation? Or CPS could have done a protective custody warrant. I would also imagine they would have had to have assistance from prob the Sheriff's department as Charlie is the local city police? Just wondering.
Great writting and I am enjoying it. Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it, you're one of those that I was worried about offending. I don't know about your work, I've only ever been on the other end of it and I wasn't exactly in a position to know what the hell was going on. If you don't mind I'd love to use some of your suggestions, or possibly talk to you privately about what the actual procedure would be. Let me know if that would be ok with you. This is really good. I am a CPS worker and my hatred for Charlie in this story....well, I can't put into words. Seeing kids with bruises from their so called parent (I use the term losely) just pisses me off. I hope Charlie gets the hell beaten out of him. Author's Response: We shall see, we shall see.
