Bella has spent her life abused and betrayed. Now she feels nothing. When she meets the new boy in school she starts to feel again. But is the pain worth the possibility of something better? NC-17 for violence, language, possible lemons in later chapters.
It never ceases to amaze me the things people will do to their children. SUCH A TRUE STATEMENT. I work with abused children and it is amazing. I really like this. However, CPS would have had to talk to Bella first and/or the police would have had to detain. CPS couldn't just say yeah she is staying with you. So I am wondering if Charlise did something like contact CPS in the county and they contacted law enforcement to detain based on records and the emergency of the situation? Or CPS could have done a protective custody warrant. I would also imagine they would have had to have assistance from prob the Sheriff's department as Charlie is the local city police? Just wondering.
Great writting and I am enjoying it.
I'm glad you're enjoying it, you're one of those that I was worried about offending. I don't know about your work, I've only ever been on the other end of it and I wasn't exactly in a position to know what the hell was going on. If you don't mind I'd love to use some of your suggestions, or possibly talk to you privately about what the actual procedure would be. Let me know if that would be ok with you. If not, it's cool, I'm just glad to know that you know I'm taking your job lightly. Thanks.
This is really good. I am a CPS worker and my hatred for Charlie in this story....well, I can't put into words. Seeing kids with bruises from their so called parent (I use the term losely) just pisses me off. I hope Charlie gets the hell beaten out of him.
We shall see, we shall see. Thanks for the review.
I hate Charlie. I am a social worker and work with abused kids. They need to report it so she can be removed from that ass! I hope he dies a painful death just like all child abusers should.....before they go to hell ((my little soap box rant).
You do a great job with making one feel the emotions in this
I liked your rant, and agree wholeheartedly. As a social worker, I hope that you don't take exception to anything I put in this story. I'm taking a bit of creative license with what exactly the authorities might do. Thanks for the review.
The Cullens move to a new school, in a new state, with new students. Edward is… pretty much a nerd. Dweeb, Geek, Turd, Loser. Whatever you wanna call him. Bella isn’t. She already goes to Forks High. Well-known, actually. Not your average Nerdy Edward/Slutty Bella fanfic. Originality is all over, babe. So read.
Thank you to ebonyy and PosionousGarden! (: original two inside. this one is just to perfect.
Bella, turned into a vampire by Carlisle Cullen in the year 1837, and Edward, determined to enter the Great War against his family's wishes, must face the potential for both love and despair embodied in one another. Through personal journeys and adversity, they confront the limits of their faith in order to determine whether they can share a future. BxE
