This is a AU-crossover story between Twilight and L. J. Smith's The Night World. The story is set at the same time as Twilight and loosely follows the books.

Bella is a vampire, she has been one all her life. She moves to Forks to avoid unwanted family members. In Forks she meets the Cullen Family. This family claim to be vampires, but they are unlike any of the vampires that Bella has ever seen. Each species of vampire has remained hidden from the other for centuries. Will the fates conspire against our favourite Twilight characters or will love conquer all?

[AU. E/B.]  What if Bella had been a vampire ages ago? What if Edward had met Bella as a vampire? What would happen when they finally found each other after being lonely for so long? Who would gravitate to who? Who would chase and be chased?

I should have been all right – we lived in a good area and my father was a respectable constable – except then I did not know what I do now. There are things in the night that are unnatural and impossible to wrap the mind around and I just happened to attract one of them.
