This is a three part short story that is Jasper's point of view of Bella's 18th Birthday party.  Read what the evening was like through Jasper's thirsty eyes.

We learn about his past as he struggles to forget the horrors that shaped him into the only Cullen who still struggles significantly with a day to day life of abstaining from human blood.  Alice has tried for decades to help her husband abstain, but we all know that he eventually slips.

This is my first trip into the land of Twilight fanfic, although I have traveled this road in other vamp genres. 

I have a very bizarre obsession with Alice and Jasper's relationship.  The invariably light and airy Alice with the torn and damaged Jasper - two so different, yet so destined.

This story tells of Alice and Jaspers first meeting in Philadelphia, what happens when a vampire with no memory of being human meets the amaranthine creature of her dreams who has only known a life of violence and death.....

Alice laughed. "Why the hell would I want you?"

"Why are you staring at my pants?"

Alice is the new girl at school, ready to start afresh. Jasper is the notorious laid-back trouble maker with more suspensions than people think he can count.

On her first day, Alice and Jasper cross paths and world war three is declared in the cafeteria over a ball and a lack of a pair of them. 

Jokes will fly, and egos will be deflated, but everyone soon starts to agree that it is only a matter of time before they end up together.

That is, if they don't kill each other first.
