That was a great update! I laughed when Bella told Edward his "punishment". I truly did not think he could do it! The boob "groping" was priceless! So where are they going? To a jungle maybe? I can't wait to find out! Awesome update!

I love the tight string you keep these two on. I am fascinated with you exploring Bella's dilemma through Edward's eyes: very effective. You let us see that Bella is torn, even though we aren't in her head. I love horny bi-polar Edward...Poleward? LOL
I can feel/imagine Bella's pain. Such a savvy way to write this! Dark and brilliant are so excellent together: thank you.

Oh what torture for poor Edward, but he did it, and as a reward he got to feel her up! But I'm worried about the fact that neither of them are feeding, which means it's going to make it hard for even Emmett to be around Bella. It will also mean their strength is diminished should Samson make an appearance. They will have to take turns to leave the island, which I'm not sure Edward will be able to do, and it may be that Samson is out there somewhere, just waiting for one of them to leave - and if that's the case, it probably means that he can only use his power on one of them at a time. So, although you didn't actually leave us with a cliffhanger, in a way you did, because not knowing what's going to happen next is still leaving me desperate for more.

Yeah, if I was the family of that nurse I'd think that 24 hours of not being able to grope your girlfriend was justice being served......good thing Edward shows such remorse for what he actually did, not just regret that Bella is punishing him...and how lovely that Bella is sitting up in bed happily reading novels in the arms of a man who has torn a family to shreds with a shrug of his shoulders, so he can have Bella to himself.
I'm sorry to be so harsh; but you make it hard to like or sympathise with either of them. You write so well, that the death of the caring nurse is painful and terrible, but then skate over the deep moral dilemmas and turn them into a plot device to build some sexual tension.
Author's Response: Justice? Certainly not. And don't worry about being harsh! "Harsh" comments will help me better understand what readers are thinking than the pats on the back. It *should* be hard to sympathize with them, and I definitely don't try to make it easy for anyone to do so. They're a screwed up pair, beyond a doubt. Bella's options are very limited, and Edward is a nut, so the combination of the two should be an *interesting* one, not necessarily one where we identify with the characters. You don't have to agree with their decisions to understand their motivations. In this story, 9 out of 10 times what Edward decides is about as bad a decision as it could be!

I love the 24 hour torture she inflicted on Edward....he was right. that really was the worst thing for him. but he made it!

Interesting punishment that Bella comes up with...and quite effective. I'm glad they are leaving Bella Island--it was making me nervous for them. I'm not sure why they wouldn't go back to the family even if Carlisle is mad at Edward. I would think he would want to protect her from Samson as well, but maybe he won't be willing to help at all.

Emmett is literally pounding some sense into Edward! In the hospital Edward sounds like a abusive husband which is exactly what he is…..when ever he causes bella pain I forget all of his nonsense about loving her. If he did there's no way he still would be behaving like an ass. Emmett is like such a breath of fresh air....vamp rehab indeed! i loved how you ended this one...atonement my ass...didnt take him a minute to revert back to usual.

Another great chapter! The first lines that really struck me was: "'You are being ridiculous.' Well, of course I was. I would have thought she was used to it by now." It just made me smile :) Bella's punishment was a good idea...she is the only one who have the ability to tame the monster inside Edward, and that she uses her strengths for doing so is excellent! I also really love this Emmet, he's so emotionally intelligent “And that’s your idea of love?”, wow, spot on! Can't wait for the next one :) <3

GREAT chapter. Bella was HIGHLY merciful. I expected her to do worse, but she is very kind, here. And YAY for Edward being able to keep it together.
So...what's Emmett's doing? Is he reporting back to Carlisle?
I hope hope hope that he is able to do well out of love for Bella. :)
