OK, about your comment at the beginning of this chapter, it astonishes me over and over again when authors have to explain themselves to readers about things not being scientifically correct. IT'S FAN FICTION, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! That means NOT REAL! We're talking about vampires and werewolves! Can't these people enjoy the ride and have a frigging life already? Jeez...
Now, about the chapter itself, you are absolutely right, I think Bella can forgive Edward for taking her blood, even for taking her, but if he raped her it would be a point of no return. Who can forgive something like that? I'm glad we didn't go there.

Dr C trying to give any kind of sex talk to Bella is pretty amusing given it's his own "son" that she's intimate with hehe
I'm curious to see how Aro's power might interact with Edward's "madness" & power... I'd almost expect something akin to virus-transmission to occur...

Either Daddy C is insane or perverted. Why would he need to teach a 17 yr old how to us a condom. If anything it should have been taught to Edward.

That was absolutely wondrous! So well written. Hard to imagine our sweet vampire being so callous and rude, he even seems surprised with himself. I liked Bella too, no panicked and trying to rationalize her situation. I'm loving the EPOV,but fear that it won't last long.

Yet another great chapter. You have some of the best one-two liners out there. They say so much about the scene and reveal so much about the characters, and are a hoot! The image of Edward running full speed to get to Bella in only his boxers had me ROFLMAO, and how he reacted to Carlisle talking to Bella about sex, pregnancy and condoms - PRICELESS!!!!
I really don't like the idea of Edward with Aro. And isn't it illegal for humans to know about vampires? - won't them letting Aro know whats going on endanger Bella? Crazy Eddie absolutely cannot mentally handle ANY threat to Bella. Also, didn't Samson have Volturi connections? We still don't know how he found them on Bella's island - what if one of the Volturi helped him?

I love this story. Such a new take. I've been reading religiously.
I did want to pass along one comment from the last chapters though. Carlisle, an MD, would never refer to someone as insane. It's a term that is only found in courtrooms and used very infrequently. Serious mental illness, mental illness or a mental health problem are acceptable terms. It also better conveys that mentall illnesses are treatable and recovery is possible.
Hope that's helpful and not too obnoxious.
Author's Response: You are absolutely right, and Carlisle never does use the term himself. Insanity is a purely legal term, but since it is used so frequently, Daddy C didn't see much point in correcting the terminology when others used it. :) Not obnoxious at all, and it's something I've told other people (I gots a degree in psychology. ;) )
