Alice was trying to be a good big sister and warn Bella about the big bad world outside. Bella enjoying shopping surprised her enough to talk with her. Bella toldl Alice she loves him and has for a long time. Alice's new friend Jasper, related to Edward that Edward is in love with Bella and only Bella. So Alice is upset about the choices Bella was given on Charlie's behalf. I think Bella opened Alice's eyes about what her true feelings about Edward and her upcoming marriage. Especially Bella buying pretty and sexy things. Completely blowing Alice's mind.

Unique beginning of a story. Charlie going to a loan shark. Was he really putting into his business? Or was he gambling on horses or other things? Edward giving the option of death or Bella married him and cleared the debt. Bella accepted the marriage option because she loves Edward and she also loves her father. She doesn't want him to be killed. Sounds like the two are happy together. They both love each other regardless of age difference. Looking forward to additional chapters. Will Alice and Rosalie become involved with Jasper and Emmett.
