I really liked this story. Very true to canon. Was Jasper manipulating Charlie's emotions,or was he just dazzled by Carlise and Esme? Hmm... I know I'm like 3 years late reading this, so I don't really expect you to comment.... Just wanted you to know that you words are still appreciated!

Wow... what an enjoyable little snippet.  Thank you.

That was excellent... Not many people attempt Charlie stories. I love the short one-shots that give a better glimpse of the lesser characters. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Carlisle, the smooth talker. Lol! I loved this! And oh to think what Charlie must've thought when Bella came back from her honeymoon and the lie they spun for Charlie about her being sick, and then for him to see her... if this were really what he thought now, what would he think then...? Fisherman indeed, and yep, they made Bella one of them. Beautiful! And at least he recognizes the love Bella and Edward share, the soul connection. Good observation, Charlie!

Keep up the good writing! This little piece is amazing!

This is a wonderful story with a Charlie pov.

I really enjoyed this one-shot.  I noticed one missed quote mark, but everything else was perfect.  In character and enjoyable.

Wow.

I only just saw this and it's AMAZING.  My dad was a cop and I think this portrayal of Charlie is very real for that occupation and for who Charlie is.

Carlisle certainly seems sinister here, doesn't he? Nicely done.

Excellent story, different take with the idea of Carlise being a bad guy, but how the story played out made a lot of sense, and well written.

Thank you so much.  I'm really glad you enjoyed enough to take the time to review!

Carlisle's running a teen cult...that's awesome.

I love the way you wrote the entire family.  So often we hear of Esme being "motherly" or "wholesome".  It was great to see her portrayed as mesmerizing in her own right.

Charlie was great, too.  I couldn't help but think of Alice warning everyone: "Hey Carlisle, Charlie thinks you run a cult!"  To be a fly on the wall during that strategy session, eh?

Truly, great work.  I've always loved solid, matter-of-fact Charlie.  It was great to see him done right.

Author's Response:

Laugh..

Yeah, the cult aspect was my attempt at humor in this piece. )

I'm glad you enjoyed it and felt that it made sense!

Thank you for the review!

Wow, this is kind of brilliant. I mean, I would never have thought of it, but honestly it would be a reasonable suspicion for Charlie to have. And it was just really interesting to get an in-depth view of what an outsider might find so instinctively...off-putting about the Cullens. I like it :-)

Author's Response:

Well thank you!

I'm actually rather fond of Charlie, and find it rather frustrating when he is written with Emmett Syndrome: as a bumbling idiot.  Both are horribly misunderstood imho.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for taking the time to read and review.

Whoa, very insightful into the character of Charlie, I've never once put so much thought into his outlook on all of these events. A real eye opener, thanks, I hope you write more POVs from the other characters would love to read them.

Author's Response:

Thank you =)

This story holds a special place in my heart because it pisses some people off.  I love a story that brings out emotions.  I've got the first quarter of Twilight from Alice's POV.  I haven't really thought of doing anyone elses.

Hrm...perhaps though.

Thank you so much for the review!

How is it that this doesn't have any reviews here?  *shrugs*

Anyway, you've heard it before but I'll say it again.  I love the way you wrote Charlie.  I always got the impression that there was a lot going on underneath the surface and you portrayed it so well.  His feelings about Bella really touched me, and his interaction with Carlisle proved that he is far more perceptive than anyone realizes.

Author's Response:

Baha...it's a pity review!

I luvs Ava.

I think it got no reviews here because I dun have a banner and cause it's not nc-17!  That's ok.  I like it and its creepiness.

Thanks for pepping me up on this one!  I hope everyone checks out the new Leah...because it are teh awesome!
