I like that you take your time with the progression of their physical relationship. Edward needs time to accept that it is something normal and not something wrong. This chapter showed once again how much progress he has made.
Really like how Bella is so understanding and patient with him.

Edward's level of comfort and his sense of safety, especially around Bella continues to grow and develop with each chapter. Every touch and caress is another milestone for him and for them as a couple. Love that Alice and Esme helped him with the picnic.....love that he allowed them to help. That was a great, realistic progression of their physical relationship. It's also nice to see them have some time together without the weight of his past bearing down on them so much. I know they have a while to go yet before they get "there", but it was a relief to see them have some relaxed, fluffy romantic time.

If I remember correctly, Edward hasn't done any masturbation, which makes sense. But he probably needs to get comfortable with his own body's reaction to pleasure before he can handle someone touching him more intimately. Or maybe he will trust in his body if Bella is the one bringing it pleasure. I don't know, but the first time he has an orgasm will definitely be eyeopening for him.

Although I am apprenhensive about Edward meeting his mother, I do think he is absolutely right to want some answers. He needs some closure. Why she abandoned him to that monster, why she never searched for him. I do hope it doesn't end up setting his progress back. I am so happy for how Edward has been interacting with everyone. He doesn't see the how much he has changed but he has :) Thank you for a great chapter.
