Another great chapter! And I agree about the haircut, although it kinda grossed me out when he attributed it to an infestation of nits. (Had to deal with too many episodes of that when my girls were smaller.)
Glad to hear you're finding lots of inspirational music. I've been roaming iTunes myself lately, although in part it's to replace old stuff I've lost or never had on CD. I'll have to scroll through the comments and see what others have recommended.

I was surprised at Rob's reaction to Jen having fun with his friends while they waited for him to get home. I hope they will come back soon so they can all have a nice time together. I miss Rob's family, too. You write them so well!
It is to be expected, though, as she gets ready for her trip and he dives into his new movie. I love these moments of domestic life. It is something so normal, something I think he really needs.
Author's Response: Jealousy can spring up in strange places. Rob had never had to share her before. And add to that his stress over work and her leaving can only spring for a little bit of that little boy who doesn't liek to share.
The boys will be back.never fear... they can't stay mad at our boy for long. and the family will be back very soon. so glad you like them!

This chapter was so full of every emotion imaginable! Ohh, I don't like jealous Rob. He's mean! I cried and cried with Jen over his treatment of her. She may have let him off a little too easily, but she has such a good heart and he really is young. But still, that was so ugly of him! So much angst in this one. I feel emotionally raw at the moment. My heart feels heavy and sad really b/c I know that they have a hard road ahead of them for a little while. But that means you are doing an amazing job to make me feel all of that. As I say time and time again, you are so very talented. Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Sigh, I love that people are having such a big reaction to jealous rob. Yeah, I don't like him either. Jen was definitely too forgiveing, she has always been when it comes to people she cares about (her brother being the big one). but she cares, which doesn't make it right, but maybe she can help him see that her needs are just as important as his.
He really is young, and needs some insight into what she has gone through. That life is a lot harder than what he has has to deal with.
This period apart may help him see that. we'll see. they have so much left to accomplish as a couple before their coming out... how will that turn out if she is not welcomed like he thinks she will be? can you imagine Possessive Rob then? wow...
they balance one another out, but they also feed off of one another's insecurities, which can be so bad...
still a long road to go...

Just because he is Robert F'n Pattinson does not give him the right to be a wanker. Jen is very forgiving, which could be her undoing down teh road. she needs to find that piece of her and not fall away in to the shadow of Rob. and he needs to respect that and support it as much as she does him.
He needs to grow up. absolutely if he expects to be in a relationship that is as serious as what they have.
This being apart may help that, may see how much he needs her and what she has really given up for him.
she absolutely cannot be his mum. that part is taken.
i think you are the only one so far to not forgive him really... and that is awesome in my book.
he is still a child on so many fronts...
let's see how he deals with her being gone to deal with her own things for a couple of weeks.

Ah Rob...our beautiful British boy. No matter how hard your day is at work on the set love, there is no excuse for treating Jen the way you did :( Even worse, you wouldn't even tell her what you were struggling with in the film, so she had no idea that anything she had done would set you off like that.
Thank goodness he eventually saw the light, begged her forgiveness and came clean as to what was troubling him. A problem shared is a problem halved! Regardless of the shit fit Rob had over coming home to see the Brit pack over visiting and hanging with Jen; it was nice to see her so relaxed with his friends and jamming.
After all of his stupidity, boy was that boy lucky to have a tremendous woman like Jen to come home to after their big discussion? Here he was thinking he was going to treat her to a special night, showering her with love; and instead she gave him quite the treat.
P.S - I did not miss the hints towards Jen being pregnant either? The casual mention of her clothes getting tighhter & the corset digging into her? All signs point towards a baby Pattinson on the way - Rob will posivitiely turn to mush I'm sure :)

It looks to me like Rob needs to get used to the whole releationship thing, he needs to learn give and take (aahh, he is so young!) 2 or 3 weeks apart could be good for them. unless Jen makes a discovery while she is away? THAT could be difficult. Just guessing here.
I had notification in my inbox this morning that this story had posted and notification of new Rob/Jacob J pics. Oh decisions decisions, which one do I click on first?! Sorry Steph, but I went for the pics, I just couldn't resist. And resistance, as they say, is going to be futile for the remainder of the film judging by what I have seen so far!
