Eric Northman?? Really? Why on earth would you kill him! He's hot!
Author's Response: Yes, I admit, I'm a True Blood fan too. There's a few 'ringers' on Edward's list. Some of them at the request of readers or betas who asked that their ex-es be included! :)
Thanks for reviewing!

Bella was always going to choose Edward, thats how the story goes. But what a way to force her hand. She has no control over anything, timing, place etc. These details might be small but make it all seem so forced compared to the way it should have been. This is no criticism of your story, because the plot leads to these outcomes, and I love your plot. It has been an interesting journey. The biting for turning seems such an intimate thing, and here they are being forced to do so in front of the people they would least choose to do so.

Aro is so evil! To engineer the situation thus, to torture the Cullens, Bella and the wolves. Poor Bella, attacked by an unsuspecting, instintual Jacob. And poor Edward, having such overwhelming temptation put right in front of him, forcing his hand.

Yes, I knew they would come. Interesting to watch their arrival this time, with the use of Alec's gift, very timely.

Bella is perceptive when it comes to how Edward is feeling, Edward too has some perception of what makes Bella tick. They are both struggling against what they see as the only logical conclusion to their situation, maybe coming events will give them other options. The motives of the wolves in seeing Bella seem a little off to me. Why cant she just call them. What are they after?

Although still in pain, Bella has a very open heart

I found your story doing a random search, and it caught my eye. I like a mature and intelligent sonding writer, so you got me hooked pretty much straight away. Glad vengeful Edward found another way to stop predators without eating them.

So Bella is not as chaste & virginal as she appears? Did she find God only after losing so much?
Jake is an asshole if he left Bella through & after all that, no excuse seems enough.

I love a philosophical Emmett. Such a simple man by all appearances, yet so deep sometimes.
I adore a dark Edward! Chaste, religious Bella adds yet another layer with which to torture Edward.

Bella's religious fervour seemed to unsettle the Monseignor, who is the bigger believer? I like Bella's reflection that what she had seen was 'above nature and beyond faith', beautiful words

"My cries of grief were slowly lessening when I heard a whisper of a sound−just the tiniest little plink next to my foot. Curious, I opened my eyes to see a bead of moisture on the carpet. I raised my hand to my face, wondering if I had suddenly developed the ability to cry but I was as dry and hard as usual. I dipped my finger delicately into the tiny bead of clear moisture and brought it to my nose. Venom. There was its distinctive acidic tang.
Confused by the source of the drop, I looked up. Dumbfounded, I saw the faint glimmer of moisture trail down the cheek from the eyes of the motionless Christ. On my knees below the bottom of the cross, I held a trace of glittering moisture on my finger that could only have come from the inexpressibly sad and grieved icon above me."
Oh, I LOVE this. I firmly believe that God loves everyone, no exceptions, & will always meet you where you are. I wasn't going to review until I'd read all the chapters, but I just had to let you know I loved this part. The redemption/forgiveness vampire stories are my absolute faves. I'm still pissed that they canceled Angel.

I have enjoyed this journey with Edward and Bella with it's ups and downs. It made me cry and laugh. It is truly a great story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for all your reviews. It really is a thrill as an author to see tidbits of a reader's reaction as they go through the chapters. Thank you!
