Well, it ended on a sad note, but this chapter still left me filled with hope. My hope with the story always feels as if it's upon a knife's edge, but I guess that's the way it is with an addiction. You can never breathe easy... I absolutely loved the Jasper interaction and the Seth interaction. Jasper is a true friend, the kind that don't come around often; the truth is one of the most precious commodities, I think... and I feel like he really showed Edward the error in his thinking... It was so familiar as I was thinking of family members who have struggled with addiction - he's so narcissistic, even in his caring for others. I really hope he's beginning to change that. The music teacher's course made my heart swell up. Once again I know you hear this all the time but your writing is beautiful and the story is heart-wrenching and wonderful. Thank you!!

This chapter just killed me. When Jasper had it out with Edward on their run, I thought I was going to cry.

Of course, if I think of Jasper's point of view and the struggle he probably still has in his own life to be sober, I get why he did it. But it hurt to read.

And the conversation with Seth - he is such an amazing side character, such a catalyst for good in others (building confidence in bella when they dated before and him remaining her friend, and then giving edward the push he needed but could only get from an over talkative, nosey stranger)

 

When Jasper is back in his life at the end of the chapter, I'm relieved but it's bittersweet because of Bella.

You are such an amazing writer! Can't wait for more.

Im so glad to see Edward is getting his act together.  I hope it continues.  Once again wonderful story.  I have recommended this story to few of my fan fiction friends to read.

I'm so sucked into this, it gives the me the feeling of drowning.  It's theraputic though...I quite enjoy the agony and desperation for one more breath.

So glad this story has updated. I've been wondering about Edward and how he's been getting on.

I'm not suprised Bella doesn't want to hear about Edward, and I'm not expecting a HEA. I think the most we can expect is a healthy, almost Happy Edward.

And I'm so glad Jasper told Edward where to go. About time Ed started taking some responsibility for his own actions. You can only come up once you've hit rock bottom, but had Edward really reached rock bottom??

You are keeping me hooked! Keep up the hard work, I love your story.

*wipes forehead* phew!! that was so good! the jasper edward confrontation is by far some of the best dialogue in this story, hands down. It was raw and honest and utterly moving. 

I will continue to have hope/faith in alcoholicward. You've given such a voice for this kind of situation that i think so many of us are unfamiliar with. And you've made it real and touching. I know people may cry and wail over your updates, but i really look forward to them as his story unravels. such a good read! :)

Oh this is so sad.  I hope somewhere on this horizon is a HEA if that is even possible.  Great story but very depressing.  I can't even imagine what an addict must go through and reading this is humbling in the least.  Thanks for the update.
