Another amazing chapter. Sometimes I wish I could like "scandoo" in the story and be part of Zenith, that's how amazing it is.

all in all, though, i don't think this will be a college interview....

The thing with Angela and Ben is completely unrelated to the supernatural craziness. Odinary teenage life is just seeping into Bella's reality. Hopefully it will do her some good.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks, Lee. I'm really excited to get into the writing workshops because I'm eager to see what it can do for my writing.
LOL, "invisible witches from Salem." When you put it that way...
lion_lamb...It's just general nastiness. Um, specifics...They say alot of cruel, unnecesarily rude things about Taylor, just because he plays Jacob. They come up with mean, petty names for Jacob. They manip pictures of Taylor in demeaning ways. They say vicious things about about Jacob's character that are really over-the-top. I mean, I hang out at sortofbeautiful a lot (which, you know is Team Jacob), and people talk about their reasons for disliking Edward's character and poke fun at the fact that he sparkles and mopes, but it's not done maliciously. And if people say bad things about Rob, it's something like, "I think he makes a crappy Edward" or "I don't think he's cute because he looks really scruffy and drugged out all the time." I know it's not "nice" to say stuff like that either, but it's A LOT more tame than the ridiculing that goes on at lion_lamb. If things ever seem to be getting out of hand at SOB, the mods will step in and say something about playing nice and not mindlessly bashing Ed/Rob. The mods let just about anything slide at lion-lamb. As someone who likes both Jacob and Edward, I don't feel comfortable participating in that comm.

What an awesome suprise :) I got online to do my homework, and I'm like....I might as well check. SWEET :)
I have to say my favorite part of the chapter was when Edward and Alice picked Bella up, didn't see it coming, but it worked so well. I didn't miss that 'cool feeling' she got in her chest with Jacob either, or the fact that the unidentifiable visitor was probably linked with the call about going to that college in Salem. Poor Charlie doesn't know what's going on under his own roof. This was a good filler, lots of new things again, Angela and Ben for example? Something has to be up for sweet modest Angela to be confessing so much to Bella. Is Angela going to a be a with now too. Man I wish you could just tell me the whole ending now, lol; I can wait. Alice couldn't see the visitor either? SO MANY QUESTIONS, I'll die before the next chapter, especially with exams coming I probably won't be able to read again until the end of the month.
Congradulations on figuring your major out! I really think you'll go places, maybe some day you'll write a crazy awesome famous book :) I'll be waiting, it better have a whole bunch of Jacob-like characters in it :) and shirtless and sarcastically funny like.

Author's Response: I'm glad I was able to distract you from homework. I'm avoiding my own at the moment.
You're just connecting all sorts of dots, aren't you? And most of them are pretty spot on. But don't read too much into the whole Ben and Angela thing. That's serving as a grounding element, not a mystical one. One of the purposes of this chapter was to show the thin line Bella walks between the the mythological crap (ie vamps, werewolves, creepy tatts, etc.) and normal stuff (hormones, college, friends's secrets). I always thought that one of the reasons the series felt like such a fairytale was because SM almost COMPLETELY removed Bella from the elements any normal teenager would be facing at that point in her. I think that is one of the reasons it was so easy for Bella to make the decision to become a vampire and leaver everything behind; there was NOTHING beyond Charlie to keep her truly grounded in real life. This chapter made a subtle atempt to draw on that tension.
Thank you for the congratulations. And if I do write some crazy awesome famous book, I'll make sure to send you a signed copy, lol. And yes, I'll try to come up with a character as awesome as Jacob. :)

I wish I could see the end - but I can not. i will just have to wait until you get there. I am pretty excited. This is by far one of my favorite fics. I love the path Bella is on. She is growing as a woman. Your development of her is well written - I would never have know you were new at this.

Just a side comment, I do not bemoan Edwards'a absence at all! I am all about Jake and Bella, wishing that it was all wolf and no vampire but then there would be no wolf. But you know what I mean. Love it!
