Glad Victoria talked with Charlie and told him about beatings and robberies committed. All of these crimes will cause James to be locked up for a long time. Charlie contacted other states regarding their unsolved crimes. Victoria is safe at Carlisle and Esme's house. Esme is mothering her and letting her feel safe and rested. Victoria is confused but enjoying being mothered. Edward and Bella are taking a vacation to relax and meet Bella's mom. First the concert in Seattle with a beautiful suite to stay in. having Edward in a tux, isn't that every girl's/woman's dream? Talk about sexy to the max. Bella's dress sounds exquisite. No wonder Edward was having a hard time all evening. That limo ride back to the hotel was very romantic indeed. I have a feeling neither Edward or Bella will ever forget that ride. Renee was out there as usual. Bella warned Edward about her. But no amount of preparing can match the actual Renee. Relaxing in Florida and visiting with Bella's mom will be great for both of them. Not only lots of sun, hanging on the beach, with no stress to rush to the hospital to deliver babies. Bella is feeling to awkward to have sex at her mother's place. Funny how uncomfortable you can be at your parents' home. Just love the two of them his sexy grin, chuckle, and uplifted eyebrow raises so much sexual tension between them. Their bantering conversation back and forth implications galore. Very enjoyable always gives me a good chuckle.

Chapter 21 was amazing. I get excited when I realize another chapter has been posted. You really know how to build suspense. As always, I look forward to the next chapter. I was just wondering is Australia Day like our July 4th Independence Day? I hope you are well. I know what you mean about the heat really draining your energy. Texas is famous for hot summers. In August 90 degrees Fahrenheit is considered "cool".

Oh dear Lord...I am relieved that Victoria is in a safe place. I have wondering about her for the last few weeks. I agree...what kind of sick bastard hits a pregnant woman? I am so glad James will be put away and that for the time being his child will be safe, I can only hope Victoria stays strong for the both of them and does good for her baby. Very moving chapter. With the funeral of Billy. Bella recovering from that tragedy of losing her best friend's father who she considered her uncle. Edward was very supportive during the whole ordeal from his illness, his death, taking care of Jacob, and the funeral and burial. Just when they think things are going well for them a patient comes in bruised again. With Edward and Bella leaving town for a concert in Seattle and adding a couple more days to visit Renee in Jacksonville, FL. Bella gets a call from the patient, her partner had beat her up again. Esme and Carlisle have offered their home for her to rest and be safe. Bella called Charlie and he was going to arrest him and speak with Victoria the next day. I find it hard for a man to beat any woman, but to beat a woman 8 months pregnant with their child just abhorrent. Hoping James gets the book thrown at him and is locked up for a very long time. Knowing Esme and Carlisle they will find a safe haven away from Forks for Victoria and her baby to start a fresh life.

Hmm...I hope Victoria doesn't do anything that will hurt Edwards family. They are being so generous and helpful, so I hope she doesn't do anything like let James into their house or anything. I also reallllly hope that James doesn't go after Edwards family or Edward/Bella.
I still feel like Bella is pregnant (is she? will you pppleeeassseee tell me! haha) I know it's supposed to be "impossible" because of Edward...but I think she is. Or I'm kinda hoping, at least. :)

Wow! Great chapter. Mamma Esme rocks and it is so nice to see Victoria as the 'good guy' for a change. James forever will be the bad ass wont he!
I think I just got confirmation on where I thought the story was going and I am really excited. I won't lay it on you just yet as I may put myself to shame!
I hope you are sitting in your airconditioned plaace punching out some more chapters. I am sitting here in 32 degrees at the moment avoiding study - summer is not meant to be this way. Grrrrrrrr

Ah, I'm so glad you're back with an update. I was worried about you! I was really moved by this chapter. From the funeral to Victoria's abuse. So novel to have Victoria as a sympathetic character. Look forward to the next update. Alice isn't the only one waiting for E&B to set the date?
