you know, you keep repeating "you had to know that was coming," which usually would make for a boring story, but nooo...you keep throwing in these twists and turns! i love the excerpts about edward, nice interludes that increase the tension!

Has it been awhile since you updated? I had to re-read all the previous chapters to get this story back into my head. I hope you don't wait too long to update again. I loved the confrontation with Rose-although calling her a cow seems a little cruel. I want them to find Edward but there are other vampires out there-is one of them the one who has been stalking Bella? Now that we know it is not Victoria. Please don't be a stranger!
Author's Response: Hopefully, I'm over the hump. I'm not really satisfied with this chapter, but I finally put it up just to get PAST it. I was driving myself insane.

Author's Response: Well, I thought about it... Rose is very vain. Carlisle changed her in part because he (foolishly) hoped Edward would find a mate. Hell, she even admits to Bella that part of the reason she was so snotty is her jealousy that Edward rejected her - but fell madly for Bella. So, I theorized that she tried to seduce him once.

I absolutely loved it. The tension in the room was clear. The multi-layers of Rose were well explained. I adored how you had Bella drunk, because that's so true to character to make her speak like that only if...drunk. :)
This was definitely worth the wait.
