I remember reading your story awhile back and I was disappointed I did not mark it at the time as a favorite. So although I didn't then, I thought of it just the other day and finally today, here is your update. So although it's been awhile since your last update, I hope you'll see this story through until the end as it's so very different from anything else out there of the multitude of fan fiction I've read. It's sweet and slow in its own tempo although Edward's nature tries to make it anxious. I love how your Bella is s - l - o - w - i - n -g him down. There is a calm and peacefulness about Bella that translates as you write her thoughts. So I think that is cool. Thanks for the update. Glad I found your story again and it's now marked as a favorite.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you found it too! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful thoughts and opinions. Bella's goal is definitely to try and SLOW Edward down. She sees him--truly sees him--and it kills her to watch someone sit back and let his life just slip away. He has a lot to learn, and I'm hoping this story and his journey (as well as Bella's) will be able to be captured to the extent it deserves.

HOORAY! A NEW CHAPTER!!!! SQUEEEEE!!!! I am so glad you came back to us! I really enjoyed this...
My heart hurts a little reading about how Bella starts the day feeling so hopeful but then reality hits. And then when Edward asked what she wanted and said that she's not his type... and then she agreed that it wouldn't work anyway... maybe they can both find something in each other that will make them both see that it's worth taking a risk with each other.

Yay! I'm so glad you finally updated this. I love this story, and always look forward to another chapter.
I can't wait to see what the conversation between Bella and Rose will be like, as she tries to explain who/what Edward is to her.
Are we going to see more of Alice? And is Bella going to call her doctor about the bruses that she's getting? Of course, she probably doesn't want to go through more tests & treatment again if she has relapsed.

What a great glimnpse into Bella's head. I suspected the college student was Alice, by the way you described her before. How terrible, Bella having cancer and Alice a heart condition, at least they now have each other to confide in and share their experiences.
I also loved dejected-I-give-in Edward. Keep up the good work.

Edward is just so messed up, but still likeable despite his cocky assinine attitude. It appears his ill-manners to others are partially due to his preoccupation with pleasing/impressing his father. He seems to be taking out his frustration on those around him and trying to be like the man his father instead of himself. Love the character. Another great read.

I'm loving this more and more with each and every chapter! My heart just breaks for Alice, and I'm silently praying that she be allowed to be healed physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. That with Bella's help she can carry on the life that Bella can't.
