I'm just now catching up with your story and I'm already wanting to leave feedback after this chapter.
First off - you're hillarious with your A/N comment about Bella being a whiney bitch. I was laughing so hard when I read that. But I don't necessarily think that your character of Bella is all that whiney. I've just seen TOO many that really are. So your comment was perfect.
Second - I have to say - after a huge jump into the physical aspect and suspect anxious, awkward conversations that could have followed - you handled this FLAWLESSLY!! (and believe me - I'm not complaining about ANY lemons. If you want Bella/Edward to jump in the sack in the beginning - honey, get them in the sack!) But their conversation and interaction after just flowed - smooth and realistic. It was really well done -extremely satisfying. I so enjoyed this chapter. I know you said you struggled with it - but I found it amazingly good. Well done!!
Now I'm onto the next chapter. Cannot wait to catch up completley. Probably will leave you some more stuff along the way. So far, I totally love this piece!!

I must say long chapters are the best. I was cheesing throught most of this chapter. It was good. The expressions E uses in your fic are very manly. I have read a few fan fics that make him too feminine. It's nice to see him act like a real man would.
I agree with B. It's hard being that age and having little to no self confidence. You always second guess yourself and worry that you are making an ass of yourself.
When will we get the next fabulous (hopefully long) chapter?

bahaha. I love your disclaimer: THERE WILL BE NO BEEEEBBBEEEEESSS!!! haha. Goodness. I think that's good..because they would be atrocious with children right now.
I love Edward's present...but mostly I love how their feelings are evolving..and even though they're both fighting inner demons...it's still...their feelings are winning. I love that.

Ok.. Here is my review before reading the AN: - Love LOVE this chapter.
Damn good sex scenes. I was worried about the diving board for a while... You know Bella and her magnetic pull to an accident. The B-Day was perfect! she got to celebrate by herself and with Edward. That boy has anger management issues... Like Slim Shady...
Love the gift, love that Bella accepted the gift!
Now reading the never ending AN -
1. I like long chapters. - hell I just like to read
2. Thank God - no babies!
3. Bella is behaving how I thought she would. Hell she was living in her truck. She was trying to MAKE IT ON HER OWN! Edward should get it... He did the same thing when he left his parents.
4. Like how much thought was put in to the candles.
5. Oh hell Edward say "I love you" - man up and say it! Shit for fuck sake.
6. Problems.. ya they need to talk. I feel Bella my disclose some of her issues in her sleep. Edward's timing will bite! why because it just will.
7. the sex is good... but I worry it will cause problems in the future.
8. I fear Phil will some how show up... Baseball season is coming to an end. I fear James for Bella... The past has to come up to be aired out, the timing will suck I can just tell.
9. Bella has created the sexual control issue by not taking any control. But this maybe what she needed to do? I see some trouble here.
10. I bet she will find strenght in her internal momologue.
I liked the discussion at the end. Hope we do not have to wait to long for the next chapter. - meg

That was a great chapter. the pineapple... hum I will tuck that away for later. I read to chapter 11 last night. LOVE the plot, love your versions of the characters. I get why are both behaving the way they are.
Interesting way Rose comes to be. Love how Bella is protective of Emmett.

Well, I don't have a problem with long, short, or medium chapters as long as they are well written-and you don't have a problem with that! I definitely get that Bella lost herself due to denial, numbness, and whatever other defense mechanisms that she needed to produce to help her with her trauma. Edward is bringing balance and safety into her life. Not with his lifestyle, but with his absolute connection and love (even if he doesn't say it) for Bella. His monologue is funny in a wry, I know I'm messed up but I don't care, sort of way. Although, one or both of them ought to have it out with Jasper! Can't wait to read more!

I am loving this story! I totaly understand Bellas POV although it is sweet that Eddie wants to take care of her she needs to be her own woman. I have a good idea of what Phil has done to her and if it is what i think it is I am surprised that she lets Edward be in do much control in the bedroom... just sayin!!

Love your story... Very complex characters. In reference to your A/N... I love your independent Bella. Someone in her shoes isn't going to give that independence up so easily (insert personal experience here). I do have to say that the one character that is chapping my hide is Jasper. Though I am sure you have plans and reasons...but his Bipolar-prozac needing attitude sometimes drives me crazy...but the way you are writing your story makes me think you are doing this with a purpose (especially with Edwards comments in this chapter).
Thanks for another great chapter. I love your writing...Now I wait for another installment.
