Jasper's right.  He put it oh-so-eloquently, but he is right.  Edward needs to show Bella that he's tough and he can take whatever she throws at him and then some.  He has to be strong while dealing with her to show he will be strong enought to fight FOR her and for their baby.  He needs to show her that she's worth it and that he knows he messed up and will do whatever it takes to get her back and show her she can trust him again.

What can I say that I haven't said on the thread already. I absolutely LOVED Jasper and his infinite words of wisdom. Between Emmett and Jaz... you just always get it like it is. I would definitely love to hear some Emmett wisdom soon.

I was wondering if you are going to bring Rosalie into the mix soon? Is she going to have anything to bring to help Bella and Edward reconnect? I know she always is protrayed as somewhat of a badass with a heart of gold.. so kinda wondering.

Otherwise.. heartbreaking chapter... the realization of how Bella felt that day in the woods now through the heartbreak of his own.. just hearbreaking and even more so realizing that both B&E are just kids going trough a torment of feelings that I don't even think an adult could handle very well...

Awww My shirtless DaddyWard is heartbroken!!
But Hell he was able to tell her he loved her and he will FIGHT for her and his little Love!! *squee*

but then he ran, he was so broken and at that moment I was like that is SO how Bella felt in NM.
I love how you gave him a taste of his own medicaine even though he's so terribly broken and downtrodden and it's hard to see but that makes the story so much better.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Em tackling E, and Jaz saying that Em didn't have to do that cause he's like an 8th of E's weight LOL!
and Then PMJ going all animal planet on E, and LOL @ "rugrat" i really loved that *giggle*

And Carlisle's amusement and horror and how Jaz so "eloquently" laid it all out for Edward to finally understand Bella's reaction.

I think his reaction was understandable.  The functional equivalent of Bella’s collapse in the woods.  But his family helped him pull it together and now he’s ready for the fight.  Carlisle's reaction to Jasper's wisdom is pretty amusing, no?
