Nice

Author's Response:

I have to say you are a person of few words, but it makes me smile.  Thanks for the comments over the chapters :)

Oh, that was beautiful. I'm an addict, I'll admit it. More please!

Honeymoon eh? Gonna increase the rating? ;)

Author's Response:

Oh yes!  The rating will change, but I have to admit it will still be below NC-17 -- probably R.  I just am not the descriptive lemon kind of girl -- especially when I love my characters.  Check out my other story (Honeymoon Sweet) and you'll get the idea of what C&E honeymoon will be like.  The Twilight men are just too gentleman-like (except for Emmett I imagine).

very good.

Author's Response:

Thank you for your multiple reviews.  My focus for the whole story is on emotion.  So I am glad that came through along with the sincerity of the characters.  Thanks.

I enjoy this chapter..i didn't like Esme losing control of herself but since she is a new born I see it as fitting.

I love the rationalization of Dr. cullen and the fact that you included the suicide prevention info...good job

Its sad to think Esme with all ther love had to suffer.  You brought that feeling out very clearly

I enjoyed your story.  It was especially fun to read it on Mother's Day.  I have some similarities to Esme.  I was married to a cruel person, and partially due to his actions I was unable to have children.  After quite a few years as a single woman I married again.  My husband had custody of his three children and was lucky enough to become their "second mom" and raise them.  Now they are adults and two are married.  I have also been able to become close to my children's half siblings and they have also become like children to me.  I know about the joys of motherhood and what it is like to love a child unconditionally even though the biological link is not there, so I identify with Esme.  My husband and I have seven grandchildren now and we just returned home from watching our son graduate from law school.  Like Esme, I found how to accept the blessings of life even though it has turned out differently than planned.  Keep up the writing and enjoy your family.  The Mom

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for your candid and kind comments.  I certainly tried to portray the emotions of an abused Esme accurately.  I try to write from experience, and have not experienced an abusive relationship, so I did not go into as much detail because I didn't want to pretend to know what that would be like.  However, I did work in assualt prevention and knew a little about how survivors felt.  I have however, experience post traumatic stress syndrome, infertility, loss of an unborn child, and subsequent depression, and a evolving relationship with God.  You are right how life isn't necessary what you expect or plan.  I have now learned that is part that teaches the best lessons. I was amazed how much of my life experience I could fit into a story.  It was very theraputic.  I am so glad your story had a happy ending!  I promise this story will have one too...

P.S. Law school!  Awesome job, mom!
