awwww that was nice and intimate.
was surprised at the wedding band being platinum - a relatively new metal to jewellery but not freely available. that makes the wedding jewellery all the more special!
Author's Response: Wow! You are quite the voracious reader! And a very kind reviewer! Thank you for taking the time to respond to all the chapters (I saw you read Honeymoon Suite also). My C&E story doesn't toy around -- I know that now after looking at my Twi-friend's C&E story -- she's planning 50 chapters! I just couldn't wait to get to the good stuff! I did research their rings and platinum was the prime choice at the time. Believe it or not, when I was researching 1920 jewlery, one of the jewelers that popped up was 'Cullen Jewlery'. Freaked me out! Needless to say, I used the info from their site! We're they calling white gold at the time? I remember my mother-in-law mentioning that. Again, thanks so much! I will reply to your review on Honeymoon Suite. I think a friend of mine might be starting a thread -- don't know what that is, but she thinks it'll be fun!

I so loved this story. The ending with the crest was so perfect; it really shows how all members of the family would want to honor their fgamily bond on a daily basis. (The addition of the crest was one of my favorite parts of the movie.)
I am so excited for you upcoming looks into Carlisle and Esme's thoughts.
Author's Response: Thanks for being such an excellent reviewer. I was intrigued by the crest in the movies and at first thought it was just another marketing gimick. So I had fun with making it more than that in my world. The best part of writing this was placing events and things where I imagined them originating (the crest, Edward's piano playing, etc.). It gave me a chance to be creative within an established story. Hope you enjoy glances into C&E in Through Their Eyes. Take care!

I loved how you showed Esme's and Edward's reltionship slowly blooming. I think when Edward let his gift slip and Carlisle can after him is my favorite part in this chapter.
