This is just the most incredible story.  It is so well written.  The last part, where E is reliving all of the memories that happened...  it just took my heart, threw it into a blender and hit frappe.  Utterly fantastic.

This is stunningly beautiful. The end montage, as you have given it here, is just perfect.

It's so very true to character, so very full and rich and angst-filled.

I'm glad they gave him what he wanted.

Wow. Heartbreaking, and beautifully written.

Wow, this whole time I thought that Bella had died from the cliff-dive and I was heartbroken for Edward, crying and snotting all over the place.  But to find out that Edward had unthinkingly gone too far... even more heartbreaking!  Your writing truly weaves itself into the reader's heart.  You are very talented.  Xoxo

Wow! I read this last night and I'm still depressed this morning. You did a great job with this.  I'm sooo glad this isn't what really happened.

Reviewer: EmeraldRomance (Signed) · Date: September 01, 2009 07:29 PM · On: One-Shot

....holy intensity.  I would've been so mad if that was how Twilight really ended.  You wrote it very well....buuuuut.....eek

:)

i can't believe that you didn't say whether he found her or not. but i guess you writing nothing means that when he burns nothing happens. he is jus tgone. man that sucks....

A thing of beauty. The way it always should have ended.

Brava.

I'm sorry I didn't get around to nominating your story for a fanfic award.  It remains my all-time favorite and I want to others to get it, too.  Aaahhh!  It's still so painful to read; it hurts so good.

After reading this for the umpteenth time, I've progressed though most of the stages of grief; so far denial, anger, and bargaining.  I'm not sure I will have to experience depression, because the premise of your story is so real.  Can't fight it.  I hope I go directly to acceptance.

Exquisite.  Truly exquisite.

that was the most awful, heartwrenching but honest ending i have read for twilight, i thought it was great, and more realistic of what would have happened.  good job.

My PTSD from my first readthrough has lessened, so I attempted another go at it.  In the words of Edward, this story "is exquisite."  I would like to read Stephenie Meyer's review of it.  Your recounting is as the story should be ... but then we wouldn't have the next three books.  It would (almost) be worth it.

Wow! I read this to tide me over until WTF was updated, and I wasn't disappointed! That part of the movie was my favorite too. It is kind of haunting, and I can see where you got this idea. I really liked the flash forwards to glimpses from what could have been. This was really original and completely believable.

ummm..  WOW... that was really good, my heart was racing the whole time...  so sad..

Reviewer: ladyrip (Signed) · Date: May 09, 2009 07:27 AM · On: One-Shot

Oh. My. Gosh. *stunned silence*

How did I not see that coming? I wondered why his eyes were red... At first I thought it was a mistake, but then I knew it was real, I just couldn't figure out WHY. The ending completely took me by surprise!

I'm a bit confused by the references to Breaking Dawn. Are those Alice's flickering visions of what could have happened if he had saved her? If so, that was a really clever way of doing that.

I can only imagine how devastated Edward must have felt. I mean, in New Moon he went to Volterra feeling completely empty, thinking that Bella was dead, although it wasn't (directly) his fault. But to know that he had killed her as he tried to save her... to know that he wasn't strong enough in the end...

Oh. My. Gosh. *another stunned silence*

I was so stunned by this, I couldn't even cry!!! WOW!

While I hate the idea that Edward and Bella have ceased to exist in this AU, I absolutely love this story. You wrote it with so much feeling and passion. It's dark and sad, but it's also powerful. WOW!

Amazing story!!  So realistic, except when the volturi guard wanted to know about Bella.  Yeah Right!!!

you simply want to scream at him to stop or get a hold of himself, just as you want to scream at romeo in caprio/danes movie (that scene is the angsty-hell-of-a-god to all angst lovescenes i've ever watched).

i love the fate/fortuna  accnetuation-the swift moment ibn which everything changes.

ok, i won't quote you, but here somewhere is a sentence i'd like to scream out loud to see how it feels to say it, it's that good.

you're always that good. ;)

That was beautifully horrible. Or horribly beautiful? It seems to be a more fitting ending to the story, in a Romeo and Juliet sort of way.

Reviewer: NotTooOldForThis (Signed) · Date: April 29, 2009 04:56 PM · On: One-Shot

Ohhhh noooo... You warned me.  I didn't listen.  I have been distraught all day.  You have written the best Twilight fanfic I have read to date.  And the most realistic.  This is how Twilight really should have ended, if we are to be true to both Edward's and Bella's characters.  She was far too trusting - I mean, he's a vampire!  And he is simply what he is.  He isn't a god, he doesn't have endless control over his nature, and she tempted him again and again and again.  After reading this story, I'm even beginning to question what the basis of his 'love' for her was.  You have beautifully captured terror, horror, pathos, weakness, self-loathing, stupidity, narcissism, and other disfunctions I am not smart enough to name.  This story will stay with me for a long time, I fear.  Thank you for that.

WOW! that was so well written and i think it was amazing!

xox

Wow...Wow...Didn't see that coming.  I got through the story a couple minutes ago and I am still sitting here in silence. Wow!

Reviewer: clairesuter (Signed) · Date: April 14, 2009 11:06 AM · On: One-Shot

This broke my heart.  Sometimes I forget this people aren't real, I feel like I know them.  Really great writing, I think!

Reviewer: Zipkins (Signed) · Date: April 14, 2009 05:13 AM · On: One-Shot

It took me a little while to get what had happened (since have lent my copy to someone stuck in a hospital), but as alternative endings go that was brilliant, one of the best. I especially liked how you incorporated snippets of the original writing in your story, and you did it really well. Thanks.

I'm still in the immediate post-finish OMG dropped-jaw stunned phase after reading this so these words don't do justice to your fine writing.

All I can say is thanks to Pastiche Pen at TLYDF for the introduction to your breathtaking work.

so you end the story with everyone in pain or dead?  Would it kill you to at least put a heaven at the end?
