Sequels?? Heh, I guess we'll see how this one works out. Right now my main concern making sure it all comes together the way I want it to before.. yanno. Before I start thinking about sequels. I think by that time I might be down to 7 readers anyway..
But I digress. In truth, this story will be hella complete, overly so, when it's finished. But I actually do sit in my kitchen at night and daydream of sequels. And they're always even MORE self indulgent then this one... which might not work, overall... but I guess we'll see :)

I read Nina's rec for this story and had heard lots of mumblings about how good it was. So, I had to take a shot and I have to say that I'm enjoying it thoroughly. This is a unique twist and I'm a sucker for a well-written hurt/comfort fic. Though, I started reading at the worst or the best possible time. Cliffhangers always kill me. :)
I'm really looking forward to more. You've done an amazing job so far and I'm dying to see where you're imagination will lead us next.

please please update i love this story. it gets me in trouble coz im not meant to be on the computer, my brother banned me from using it. but i make shore that when he goes out, i sneak on to see if you have updated so i can have a quick read.

I never thought about Edward ever having a needy, desperate side. Really and truly, this is so.....outside my frame of reference concerning my favorite vampire. I just wanna hold him and comfort him like Bella~ah Geez, I'm making myself throw up in my mouth a little! Yikes, that sounds really stalkerish. ahhhhhhhhhhh, you are killing me!, but why hasn't bella just set a bed up for herself down there? It seems like Alice and Esme should be forcing some kind of interior decorating scheme on the basment.....
Author's Response: Good question.. they probably should be, but bella isn't really thinking about her own needs in general at this point.
I mean -- her stomach growls and she's pissed that Alice was there to hear it! Because she knew.. that alice would make her eat.
I think she's letting her own needs go to the wayside for now, so her own pillow isn't really important.. but she's got the vamps blanket to share! :D

Well that was a cliffhanger ending. I thought it was the cullens coming with blood, but now I'm not so sure. Perhaps you're just making things suspenseful? Hmmm...
I like that it's becoming more obvious that Edward can read thoughts-- I really like that even though he knew exactly what Bella was going to do, he allowed her to comfort her and took the drug because he trusts her.
I figured the Volutri would come into this story somehow-- either as the culprits or just to interfere. That should get intersting...
I just love your prose-- it's beautifully done. And your dialogue is excellent-- whn dialogue is good, it's not really noticable, but when it's not quite right, it's really obvious. Yours is completely natural and in-character.

Hello. I'm not very informed about the whole english/grammar thing so I really am in no position to say anything about that. Although, I have read many books and I think this fiction is as good as anything else I've read.

Well I have to say I really am enjoying reading TVITB! Some concerns though...If the antidote works, how will Edward feel about Bella's blood then? Oh and can Edward understand what people are saying when they are talking to him? Bella thinks not, but she is sort of clueless sometimes, he seems to still be able to read others thoughts because he reacts to them before they arrive or talk??
Looking forward to the update, can't really blame you for the cliffy because no matter what we all say or how mad we get, cliffys are what makes the story great and keeps us coming back for more!

Why exactly is it that they make you do such silly things when reading Chaucer. We did pretty much the same thing - only slight variation, as we got to dress parts if we wanted to - strictly volunteer, but I am a ham, and attention whore, so they couldn't stop me if they tried. It was only for one day, not the entire time we read that godforsakenly tedious book, but it made it infinately less painful - if only for one day. I still don't understand why it is required reading.
Sorry - nothing to do with the chapter, but I had to respond to that! And the homework? Yep you get around to that eventually. If, of course, by eventually I mean cramming 2 hours of reading in the 20 minutes before class, knowing you are completely screwed if called on to recite. Damn the Socratic method!
Rant officially over. Anticipating the "last time on..." momment when I get to read the new chapter. T minus...
