This is one of the only things I've ever read that has left me a sobbing mess ^^; Serioiusly. I read the story late last night and all day today my mind kept drifting back to and wanting to cry again.
Sure, there's bitter-sweetness to it.... but it really is such a sad, sad story. Sure, Edward comes for her in the end... but I can feel the pain of a woman left to her own lonliness for so many years. It makes me hollow and pained to imagine what it would be ike to be alone for an entire lifetime.

I'm really sorry but I find stories of Bella growing old somehow inately wrong. I just can't see Bella as anything other than an old soul in a young body and don't you think that Edward just watching her be miserable for more than 70 years is a bit sick? It is however, quite well written.

Oh my god! This was so sad! It nearly brought tears to my eyes. Really nice work. But why did Edward choose just to watch her if he saw how depressed she was?
Aww poor Bella, but I'm glad she decided to die rather than be with Edward, gave a touch of originality rather than a cliched love story.
Overall, very nice :)

This is really good. You should add one more part. I think it would be amazing to see Edward at her funeral. It would really add a lot to a WONDERFUL story, but if you don't want to, it doesn't really matter.
