Well when you wrote about playing Elton because people would know it; it made me sing Your Song through the whole chapter in my head. Your Song is the only gushy love song I can think of at the moment now. Strangely good song though, don't mind a little Elton. In v. small doses though.

Actually . . . Not that Cure song . . . but Just Like a Dream . . . when I was young, I swore one day I would marry Robert Smith, now I wonder at my taste . . .

I love this story. The way you write all the angst, and close encounters and the friction between Bella and Edward is amazing. I can't wait for the update.

Yay, one step closer to clearing up all those misunderstandings. My heart was literally aching for Bella's mistaken beliefs about Edward's actions. Now I only await the truth about the blog posts or cyber courting thing... Great job once again.
A few possibilitis for your question though. I'm a little unsure about what qualifies as "gushy." For straight up sweetest and earnest sentiments in a lyric would probably be Something by The Beatles. But the likes of a saccharine cavity-inducing sapfest qualifying for secret shame status in your Ipod would be How Deep is Your Love by The Bee Gees or Edwin McCain's I'll Be.

awesome chapter!
I like "Love Song" , but "Love you to Death" - Type o negative has scentamental (sp?) value to me as a gushy love song.

Awesome chapter. I was afraid that Edward wasn't going to see Edward for a moment. Bella and Edward getting into that fight was pretty scary but it was preety awesome when Bella was fighting back too.
It seems that now these two are going to start and work things out. Yay! It's about time that they work things out and start dating. I can't to see when they find out that they've been commenting on poems they have been writing.
Please update soon? I can not wait to read more!!!!

That's all kinds of awesome - not only is Bella getting better about singing in public (which is f-ing fantastic!), but they're working things out between them. I would like my very own Piano-playing!Edward to take home with me, but I'll have to just make do with reading him here.
Love Song works for me - I also like I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie - not sure it's a gushy love song, but the sentiment is there.

I love how you portray high school so well. Its like a timewarp! It's like I'm back in high school when I read this fic. I keep thinking why don't they just talk, tell each other their feelings? And then I remember they're young and stupid, and I forgive them everything for that. It's weird. Anyway update again soon!

Oh my. I just finished this after reading every spare moment I have had today, and I am so in love with this story. Your writing is so lyrical and descriptive, and I could drown in it. I can't believe that now I have to wait for more, and I will eagerly! Great job. I adore this one.

I want to start answerig your woderful questions on the bottom, but I can't do it until I am caught up. I usualy do not reply until I have read it all, but I have to say that you have a way with words that is amazing. There are so amny great one liners that I have to tell my husband...he actually enjoys them too..even if they are Twilight based! ;) Now back to reading.

Awww, stupid Edward. Stupid drugged horny Edward. He makes me shake my head. Poor Bella. Dang it. Oh well, I know that everything will turn out super. ^_^
