Amazing!!! And sooo sad!! Poor Alice, Poor Jasper!!

I was all teary eyed for that newscast and then Jasper's telling of what happened to him.  Horrible. 

Gawd, and then the surgery and the pain after it... and she hobbles to his room. 

This story is so angsty and i love it.

I will unabashedly admit - this fic has become my own personal heroine.  I'm a Jasper/ Alice lover and this story is soooooo.....I can't even say - sad, but hopeful.....tender, sweet.....

 

I realize you just updated, but I'm not afraid to beg....more, please, please, please.

I am so sad for both of them. :( Why is he being so flippin' stubborn? And how will they know where to find one another? Le gasp! I must knooooooow!

Oh, thank God! Finally, I've found something good. And not just good...exceptional. I know I haven't finished yet, but I need to go do work and I thought I'd just say...amazing. I've been looking around for some Alice/Jasper Human stories and have been falling further and further into a kind of depression that there is nothing good out there that I haven't already read and it just made me sad...but now I've found this. Yes, it still makes me sad but in a better way.

You write the characters so amazingly beautifully. Your understanding of the pain they are going through and their need to connect and just their everything is truly amazing. It's like every bit counts, every bit is as intellectual and hard hitting as the next and nothing is a disapointment. It's fantastic. You should be amazingly proud, because this piece is just absolutely wonderful and I hope you know that.

Wow, thank you so much for your review.  I'm so glad you like Alice and Jasper as much as I do.  I love the idea of mutual need.  It's not enough simply for Alice to need Jasper or for Jasper to need Alice--they both must need each other equally in order to make their lives meaningful.  This is what I always saw in them in the series, and I wanted to expand it into the "real world," and explore how such a relationship might develop with humans.  As for understanding their pain... I'm a little ashamed to admit how much I feel for my own fictional creations.  I cry for them sometimes, too.

Thanks.  Those details weren't ones that I felt I could really gloss over.  Things are as difficult for Alice as they are for Jasper, even though she has fewer outward signs of distress.  It's important that they both lack things in their lives, since this lacking makes their need for one another even more pronounced.

Technically, this chapter has just ripped my heart out.

You've done a wonderful job of letting us see into his head and to feel his pain. You're austerity of language gives this all the more impact...My questions are where is she?  Where did she go? PLEASE please please (I'm on my knees, here) give us more!!!   BTW, I truly love this story.

This chapter was so beautiful and so sad.  It made me cry with how sad it is that Jasper thinks so little of himself when he really is beautiful.  As for what Alice means when she says her brother is beautiful I think she means his soul is beautiful.

I love how Alice rattled off a bunch of random facts about Jasper.  And then he does the same, but waits until she can't hear him - and his random facts are soooo sweet.

Aww, that's so cute! That he likes it, I mean, not all the sad stuff with Rose and whatever... Gosh I'm so bad at this. Um... so whenever I say how cute something is, I'm going to assume that you know what I'm talking about. Anyhoo, you're making me mad at Edward. Wondering why he didn't come for her... *sighs* That answer will take a while though, I bet. Good chapter. =D

Ah, the ultimate Romeo and Juliet. They both like each other, but think the other person doesn't like them! This is really a great story, you are such a talented writer!
