I absolutely LOVE your story line!  The idea behind it and your storytelling is fantastic!  I could do without all of the foul language,'s very distracting...

Please Update Soon!!!:D

Reviewer: jilburfm (Signed) · Date: April 05, 2009 07:03 PM · On: Trying to Say

Jasper's rage over having her there - just kills me.  But I knew that it would go that way.  Ugh.

I love that she looks at him while he sleeps and that he sleep talks.

best part:

I want her to come back again.

She does.

I was all teary eyed for that newscast and then Jasper's telling of what happened to him.  Horrible.

Gawd, and then the surgery and the pain after it... and she hobbles to his room.

This story is so angsty and i love it.

Those last two  I've read them more than 3 times now and each time they still give me goose bumps and I still feel the same heart ache for both Alice and Jasper.  Excellent writing!

I will unabashedly admit - this fic has become my own personal heroine.  I'm a Jasper/ Alice lover and this story is soooooo.....I can't even say - sad, but hopeful.....tender, sweet.....

I realize you just updated, but I'm not afraid to beg....more, please, please, please.

Oh, just the perfect chapter to end on! *cries*. I can't get over it. This is the most amazing piece of work. There are just some lines...just the one line that manages to bring a tear to my eye. It's clever, and it's powerful and poetic, and so amazingly beautiful. The empathy you have is astounding (I know I've said it before) and it works so well, because I feel their pain and I experience it too.

Please make this all work out and, dare I say it? Update when you have time (I know it's only just been updated!). You're amazing.

I am so sad for both of them. :( Why is he being so flippin' stubborn? And how will they know where to find one another? Le gasp! I must knooooooow!

Threre's a part of me that wonders if I shouldn't just pm you instead of posting a reveiw but, I'm thinking that if you're story evokes such a deep response in me, maybe it is having the same effect on others as well.  This is such a deep, raw and open story in a way that few others are; you capture the pain and loss very well and it touches me.  I am looking forward to the next chapter; I need for these two to re-connect and to be made whole again...

Author's Response:

While, of course, I'd never revel in someone's sadness, I'm glad that you are having an emotional response to these characters.  It can sometimes be difficult for me to write because of my own emotional response to them, so I'm glad I'm able to reach others as well.  The next chapter is on its way... I hope you enjoy it!

Oh, thank God! Finally, I've found something good. And not just good...exceptional. I know I haven't finished yet, but I need to go do work and I thought I'd just say...amazing. I've been looking around for some Alice/Jasper Human stories and have been falling further and further into a kind of depression that there is nothing good out there that I haven't already read and it just made me sad...but now I've found this. Yes, it still makes me sad but in a better way.

You write the characters so amazingly beautifully. Your understanding of the pain they are going through and their need to connect and just their everything is truly amazing. It's like every bit counts, every bit is as intellectual and hard hitting as the next and nothing is a disapointment. It's fantastic. You should be amazingly proud, because this piece is just absolutely wonderful and I hope you know that.

So, thank you.

Author's Response:

Wow, thank you so much for your review.  I'm so glad you like Alice and Jasper as much as I do.  I love the idea of mutual need.  It's not enough simply for Alice to need Jasper or for Jasper to need Alice--they both must need each other equally in order to make their lives meaningful.  This is what I always saw in them in the series, and I wanted to expand it into the "real world," and explore how such a relationship might develop with humans.  As for understanding their pain... I'm a little ashamed to admit how much I feel for my own fictional creations.  I cry for them sometimes, too.

Thanks again!

So firstly, sorry for not reviewing last chapter... real life got in the way. I hate when it does that.

This is so sad! How are they ever going to find each other again? And how is she going to find Edward and her family? Good chapters; sad, but it's cute how much they miss each other. =D

Author's Response:

Hey, no worries about not reviewing.  You've reviewed every other chapter so far, and I'm beyond grateful for it.  Sorry not replying to all of them!

Don't be too sad for them.  I promise to get them back together soon!

I hope real life become less hectic for you in the meantime!

I love the details about Alice getting resettled in the world and how everything is new and scary. Very well done.

Author's Response:

Thanks.  Those details weren't ones that I felt I could really gloss over.  Things are as difficult for Alice as they are for Jasper, even though she has fewer outward signs of distress.  It's important that they both lack things in their lives, since this lacking makes their need for one another even more pronounced.

Thanks again!

Another beautifully written chapter. Thank you.

I look forward to your next update, as always.

Thank you for your continued support of this story.  I'm really glad that you like it!

Technically, this chapter has just ripped my heart out.

You've done a wonderful job of letting us see into his head and to feel his pain. You're austerity of language gives this all the more impact...My questions are where is she?  Where did she go? PLEASE please please (I'm on my knees, here) give us more!!!   BTW, I truly love this story.

Another brilliant chapter. I absolutely adore this story!

Cannot wait for Alice's POV. And I love the format you chose to use with the timeline.

I have been checking your story practically religiously for the last three days and I'm delighted that you updated! This chapter mademe really sad, but I am glad he's finally out of the hospital. I think it was a very clever way of making time speed up, very artistically done. I look forward to the next chapter and hope that alice will be back in it. Much love!

This chapter was so beautiful and so sad.  It made me cry with how sad it is that Jasper thinks so little of himself when he really is beautiful.  As for what Alice means when she says her brother is beautiful I think she means his soul is beautiful.

Reading about them healing each other is just so lovely.  I love all the tension filled and angry moments and the vulnerability.  The ridiculous amount of books, the tv volume, the will to live.  Love it.

I love how Alice rattled off a bunch of random facts about Jasper.  And then he does the same, but waits until she can't hear him - and his random facts are soooo sweet.

Aww, that's so cute! That he likes it, I mean, not all the sad stuff with Rose and whatever... Gosh I'm so bad at this. Um... so whenever I say how cute something is, I'm going to assume that you know what I'm talking about. Anyhoo, you're making me mad at Edward. Wondering why he didn't come for her... *sighs* That answer will take a while though, I bet. Good chapter. =D

Ah, the ultimate Romeo and Juliet. They both like each other, but think the other person doesn't like them! This is really a great story, you are such a talented writer!
